Chapter 10: Is it over?
Emergency services rushed to the MI5 premises, Sirens screeched in the air as they came zooming towards the scene. BBC News where the first to announce what had happened in London. MI5 was based under ground just below Heren Tower which was the 3rd tallest building in London. As soon as the explosion in MI5 went off, the bottom half of the tower was blown out. The entire floor collapsed into the main area of MI5 HQ crushing at least 150 people and injuring at least 20. Firefighters were told to get as many people out of the HQ before the tower on the ground above collapsed onto London streets.
It took 20 firefighters to fight the fire. It turns out a bomb had been planted in the engineering room. A man had been arrested for terrorism, however, he was not named. After the fire was put out, firefighters began to clear the debris that collapsed onto the ground floor. They had to do this as quickly as possible before the tower crushes them. Once they had removed several parts of the office & balcony walls, they noticed 2 bodies lying beneath the wreckage. Both were lifeless. The ambulance crew was brought in & moved the two bodies into the back of the ambulance.
As the ambulance drove away, it took a matter of seconds for the first crack appear up the side of the tower, rapidly making it's way up to the top before it began to crumble & fall onto Londons streets. All emergency services where evacuating people from the area, all were told to get to high ground so they wasn't included in the horror that was about to come.
The Tower of London's 'Big Ben' had struck 1.00pm. As the bell rang throughout the city, the Heren Tower began to fall. Fragments of glass shattered onto the ground, bits of concrete blocks fell through the hole in the ground & onto the street. Office desks pulled by gravity came tumbling down from what used to be glass windows before smashing down onto the road breaking down into small chunks of wood. Then, Finally, the entire building collapsed head first onto the street.
'Reporting live from London's business district, Herens Tower has collapsed after an explosion below the tower went off at approximately 12.30 this afternoon' Frank & George was watching BBC news live not knowing that Joseph & Miss Archy had been inside at the time of the explosion. Nor did they know that there bodies were being taken to London Hospital. That was until, Franks mum; Mrs Killop announced the news of there passing when she received a phone call from Miss Archy's sister Claudia.
A week had passed after the incident in London. Everyone was still grieving. ITV had discovered a story about Stephen's death in St Albans Hospital & had decided to broadcast it live. 'Government covers up death of Stephen Hummings, the boy was apparently killed after a spike had been pierced through his throat. The MI5 was apparently investigating this incident but was interrupted after a bomb went off on Tuesday...'.
The bodies of Miss Archy, Stephen & Joseph where finally brought back home after an autopsy was performed to learn about how they died. All 3 where un-explained deaths. There brains had changed colour. When doctors looked at the brains, all 3 where black. There eyes where blood shot red & a long black mark like a snake ran up there arms. It could not be explained so it was assumed as murder.
Jimin was still yet to be discovered, he was still in the old peoples house. Nor had he learned about his mothers & friends passing in London. Jimin was locked up in a cage. Living off lumpy mash potato & slightly expired carrots. Not knowing why they was keeping him alive, he knew that one day he would find a way to break out...
