Something felt wrong with Loewen. You couldn't quite put your finger on it, no matter how hard you tried. You had only been dating for a couple of months, but something about the bluenette felt strange.

Sneaking off late at night, practically vanishing into thin air, coming home with weird trinkets, it all didn't add up. Whenever you asked about it, he shook it off and assured you it was nothing. But you knew it wasn't nothing.

You crossed out the idea of him cheating on you, you knew Loewen was too faithful to date multiple women at once. Plus, it wasn't good to suspect your lover is cheating, it displays lack of trust. Then again, what part of this suspicion was trusting?

You didn't feel like his disappearance affected your relationship, but it bothered you. You are the type of person who likes to know things and be included into things. Loewen was hiding something and it made you antsy.

Loewen decided to stay over for the night, and you shortly formed a plan in your head. But for now, you enjoyed your time with him.

You were in his arms, his warmth radiating against you. You felt safe, and loved in his embrace. His scent wafted over you, leaving you in utter bliss. Your eyelids felt heavy but you denied yourself sleep. It was time to figure out once and for all who Loewen was seeing.

~~~
You felt the sheets shift. Without moving oddly, you shifted your weight to crack an eye open. Loewen leaned forward and kissed your forehead. His lips were gentle as to not "wake you up". He changed into formal attire, his normal suit.
With that, he went out of the bedroom.
You followed shortly behind him, as he walked down the streets. The air was cold and dark, but you weren't afraid. Instead of fear, you were determined to find out what Loewen did at night. The only fear in your heart was that he was cheating on you.
You stopped at the gate of a large mansion. It seemed a bit old, since vines slowly creeped up the walls. The paint was chipping on some areas and the gate creaked as you pushed it.
You walked through the corridors of the mansion. It was eerie, but you were more curious than afraid. Why would Loewen go to such a worn out place? Moreover in the middle of the night?
You heard a rumbling voice, followed by the cool melodious voice of the bluenette. Following their voices, you came across a room lit gold and purple.
You hid behind a pillar. Loewen stood in front of a wisp from where the gold and purple was emitting from. His hand was on his heart, similar to how a butler would do to his master. They seemed to be talking about a serious matter. You kept quiet, knowing there would be dire consequences if you spoke.
"Loewen, how long will you make me wait for the grimoire?" The wisp spoke impatiently. You were quite confused on everything, but you continued to listen.
"No longer than you already have, Lord Maksis. After all, there is nothing I can't do. A demon gets what he wants, and I intend to fully carry out my master's orders."
You gasp, and then covered your mouth. They surely had to have heard it. Loewen, your sweet and tender boyfriend, a demon?! Suddenly, Loewen vanished in a dark wisp.
"(F/N)? What are you doing here?" Loewen said from behind you in a strict yet sweet tone. You were slightly shaking, but your love for Loewen kept you courageous.
"I couldn't keep being in the dark, Loewen. You didn't trust me, so I had to figure it out on my own."
"Loewen! What is the matter?" The voice boomed. Loewen looked at the figure then covered you in a tarp.
"Nothing, my master, I thought I heard someone but it was just a simple rat."
"It is already my time, anyways. Search for the grimoire and bring it to me!"
The light disappeared, leaving the two of you in the evening night. Loewen turned back to you and sighed.
"I didn't want you to think of me differently, (F/N). I must serve my Master regardless of how evil it makes me. If he discovered you, he might of had me kill you, and I don't even want to even think about that. I'm sorry."
"Is that why you never told me?" You put a hand on his cheek. "Loewen, I would never change the way I feel about you. It's always been you who I love."
"And it's the same for me, (F/N). You have my heart wrapped around your finger."
He kissed your tender lips with a gentle kiss. You were caught in his tangled kiss as he hungered for yours. You felt his hand supporting your head as you closed your eyes and allowed him to lead the way. You wanted more of him. His kisses made you feel light and blissful. You chuckled to yourself. A demon able to make you feel like you were in heaven.
Loewen looked at you and intertwined his fingers with yours.
"Is it alright to be selfish once in a while?"
Sorry this one took a while. Basically, I found out how the my ex-boyfriend feels about me and I've just been stuck in the unknown. I feel the same, but we aren't dating. But idk. It's hard ti tell if I should keep waiting or if I should try to move on.
I want to wait. But my heart is telling me to go meet someone else before I decide on him. Take a couple test drives and decide, you know?
Idk. It's alright. I forgot how much writing helps me sort this stuff out.
Thanks minna
