It was the night after Noble teams reunion when everything had started to calm down even more. Jake and Kat had got settled in to their room area. With a sigh and some hesitation, Jake removed his helmet and ran his hand over his very short dark hair then touched the scar on his right eye that he had received in the "Arena" the first part of Arbiters test for him. He looked down then tensed up slightly as his wife ran her finger across the scar. "I'm sorry... Does it still hurt?" She asked softly "Just a little..." He replied with a sigh. In one slow movement Kat gently removed her helmet and sat it aside. She gently touched his cheeks then she pulled his head down so his lips met hers and she kissed him gently. "Then I hope that makes you feel better." She bit her lip and giggled. "Nothing better than your lips on mine." Jake replied softly. This put a bigger smile on Kat's face, she laughed and gently pushed him onto their bed then she got in bed beside him hugging his side. "I love you, stupid." She laid her head on his armored shoulder smiling. "I love you too beautiful. Forever and always." He whispered, wrapping his left arm around her, holding her close. He snapped his fingers and the lights slowly faded and both lovers eyes slowly shut.
