Legends tell of a great hero, a human who bared the Prophets Bane, and the Hunter armor. This man was faster than a bullet, stronger than the Titans themselves, more destructive than Hades. This legend lived a life full of pain, destruction, love, hate, and insanity. He was not an old legend, for he was from the generation before this one, this man was Jake's father. Jake had been raised by a single mother with the occasional visits from the Arbiter himself. When Jake was old enough the Arbiter told him the stories of his father and allowed him to follow in his fathers footsteps. How could he follow those legendary footsteps while trapped in a cage? Exactly. He couldn't. It had been a month since the "incident" and one night Kat couldn't stay away any longer, and couldn't take the silence. She walked downstairs into this prison like area that contained only one cell. She flicked on the lights and walked over to her husbands cell with a food tray in her hand. She was in her full suit of armor just as a precaution. The cracks were still shown on her visor to visually torment Jake and to show him exactly what he had done. She slid the tray through the food slot of his cell then she sighed. "Jake..."
There was no response from the man in the cell. He lay still on his bed, staring up at the ceiling like always. "Jake please just talk to me..." Kat begged her husband. There was still no response. "Jake!!" She shouted. Fast as a bullet, Jake shot up to his feet and slammed his unarmored fists against the titanium bars. "Leave!!" He shouted back at her. This brought tears to her eyes but Jake could not see the tears because of her helmet. She turned to walk away. "I-I'm sorry..." She whispered before walking up the stairs, she heard the tray of food shatter against the wall behind her and this made her pace quicken slightly. Later that night Kat stayed up late talking to her older sister via comm radio. Her sisters comforting words kept her calm. For now at least. Star, Kat's older sister promised Kat that she and her husband David, not noble 3, but Jake's older brother would be there to visit her soon. Soon wasn't good enough... She needed them now.
