Part 6: Asuna & The Return home

Kirito's POV

We just left eachother and head out to our marked positions. "This is going to be fun." I mumbled to my self. I get a message from Klein. 'Kirito! We found two members on the east side.' 'Alright take them out and report back once you finished!' I message him back. Just then, I hear a few gunshots and the sound of glass shattering. 'Done!' Klein messages me. 'Good.' I look back out and see two people. I have my hand my side arm and the other on my sword. I also had it changed to an unbreakable metal and had it look like my Elucidator. I unsheathed my sword and ran towards the two. They both spot me and I see prediction lines telling me that they are about to shoot. I jumped out of the way and went straight for one of their stomachs. I stab him and slice him in half. I heard the sound of a gun reloading and instantly reacted. I swung my sword up and brought it back down slicing the mans main arm off. His arm shattered into a bunch of red pixels. I pull out my Five-Seven and brought it to the guys face, shooting him at point blank range. "Four down, one to go." I look over to the tower where Sinon' at and see a glimpse of shining metal, letting me know that she found her target. I smile and closed my eyes knowing that she was going to pull the trigger in 3,2,1.

Bang

I open them again not to see the 'You Won' or 'Winner!' icon anywhere. I look down at my left arm to see that it was no longer there. "Nani?" I said in confusion. Two more shots were heard. One hitting my leg and another on the right side of my back. "Kirito!!!" I hear a women's voice before noticing that the shot that went to my leg was a paralysis shot.

Bang

One last shot was heard and then the 'Winner!' icon pops up on my screen. Well damn. I was about to die in my first pvp.  I was teleported back to the waiting area with Klein, Silica, Liz, and Sinon. "Well that went longer than expected." I say. I get pulled into a bone-crushing hug. I look down to see the Ice Cold Sniper hugging me. "Bakka! You made me worried!" She yelled. My eyes widened I'm surprise. "Well I thought that you had the last target in sight so I didn't bother movingly." I tell her. Her face flushes in embarrassment. "I thought I did but it was just one of the players that Klein's group killed." She says. "Well I'm fine now and I think we should be heading back to town now." I said. Right as I finished, we were engulfed into a blinding light.

I open my eyes again to see the city again. I turn around to see someone else waiting for me. Shit. I turned back around and ran. It didn't take long for someone to tackle me. I see a lock of orange chestnut hair in the corner of my eye. "Kirito-kun!" Said the person.

Asuna

I moved my hand in the sliding motion to look in my inventory. There it is. I choose the item and it appeared in my hands. A grenade. "Hey Asuna, I got you something." I tell her. "What is it?" She asked still holding onto me. "Shut your eyes and open your hand out." She did as told. I look over her shoulder and see Sinon. I gave her a look that said 'I got this'. I put the grenade in Asuna's hand and kicked her off me. "You-" Asuna started saying but was cut off by the explosion. "-got blown into tiny particles." I finish her sentence. "Well that could've been worse." I say to no one in particular. "So what happened? I teleport back and see you on the ground with her on top of you." Sinon says. "I was teleported back here and see her waiting right there for us. Then I turned around and was tackled by Asuna." I tell her. She sighs in relief and looks back up to me. "Well that's good. I don't think that we have any other rounds today so do you want to go back to the real world and go somewhere? You know, since it's your last day and all." She asks in a hopeful manner. "Sure. Hey everyone! Your free for the rest of today, so go out and do whatever!" I tell the group. "Aye sir!" They shout in unison and start to log off. "Well let's head back." I tell Sinon. She nods in agreement and pulls down her menu. She hits the log-off button and heads back. I did the same and saw myself disappear.
