Madam B is mean, and the Red Rover is scaring me. I do not enjoy his lessons as much anymore. Madam told me I needed another booster today. After they gave it to me, she sent me to a room all by myself. The room was completely red. The carpet, the walls, even the lights and the ceiling. It looked weird. I FELT weird. Not alright. It made me throw up and shiver. Madam smiled sickly when she looked in on me. I hate her. She did not rub my back like Mama does when I get sick. She did not let me rest, either. I hope Mama and Papa are alright. I still have not seen them. Bepa too. I think it's odd that I have not seen her yet. She is at the same school, after all.
I feel smarter and faster today. I do not know why. I guess it is because of the booster. Madam B only said to concentrate on my studies.  I told the Red Rover about the booster. He wrote on his chalkboard, and all it said was 'good, little widow.' He looked like he was smiling, but I couldn't tell. I wish he would take his mask off. After I told him, he started the lesson. Today we worked with my shockers and punching. I like my shockers, and punching is fun too. I don't think I hurt the Red Rover, though. He seems too tough. I do not understand why I am called a 'little widow' by the teachers. Yelena told me he beat her again. She hates him. They did not give her shockers. They gave her knives. Like kitchen knives, only sharper. She does not like them. She says they are harmful and dangerous. I told her they sounded fun. She also told me that the Red Rover man has a secret.
"What is it?" I asked her.
"I do not know. He did not tell me. I heard Madam speak of it."
Just then Madam walked by. She looked angry.
"How did you hear that, little widow?"
"I...I...it was in the hall, Madam," she told her. Then, Madam hit her. Right on the head without any mercy. She walked away with a nasty smile on her face. I hate her. She is evil. Yelena did not cry. She is strong.
