Chapter 1: Friends¿

"Emily!" My 10 year old brother shouted while knocking on my door.

I got up and opened the door.
"What?!" I shouted in front of him. I get SOOOOO cranky in the morning, even tho I'm just an 8 year old.

"Mom said breakfast is ready. " He said.

"Okay." I said. Then we went downstairs.

"Morning Em." Mom and Dad said. Mom getting iced tea from the fridge And Dad fixing his Tie.

"Good mornin.'" I said excitingly as i saw the perfectly cooked waffles on the table. Mom is just the best cook ever in my opinion. I'm not really close to my dad, 'cause he's v busy.

"Damien look after your sister, Be more active live your lives take her somewhere or something." Mom said to my brother, while kissing dad.

"Where will I take her?" Damien asked. While eating his breakfast.

"They built a playground just around the corner, Take her there Damien." Mom while typing something on the computer. Mom works as a YouTuber. She makes food then post it on the internet ,post recipes , and then she makes money. I don't really get it.

"Love you kids, dad needs to go to work." dad said while he went to his car and drove away.

After Breakfast...

"Em, go change we're going to the playground." Damien said.

"I don't want to." I said.

"MOM!!" Damien shouted.

"Okay, I'll change." I said.

I took a bath and everything then changed into a normal clothes, a white shirt, denim shorts and black shoes. Then I went down stairs and asked my mom if she would style my blonde wavy hair and she did a fishtail. After that me and my brother went to the "playground".

At the playground...

I was lonely cause I don't usually go out if the house and I'm v awkward. My brother were with his friends.

I just sat on a swing. Until I saw a boy sat next to the swing right beside me.

Then he came closer to me and asked "Hi, what's your name?"

So I was just quiet cause I was so shy around people.

"Emily Rose Smith." I said shyly.

"Ohh, I'm Weston, William Weston Koury." Then he smiled at me.

"Do you live around here?" He asked.

" I live at that white and brown house." Then pointed at my house.

*•* his reaction rn

"H-hhow 'bout you?" I asked.

" I live across your house." Ohh, wait what?!

"Em!! Let's go home, we'll play soccer at the field!" My brother shouted.

"I'll go home later!" I shouted.

Then he asked. "Your brother?"

"Yeahh..." I said.

Then he started asking me questions about my life and stuff. Then we walked me to my house since he was just across my house. Then we became best friends.

"That doesn't looks like you at all" he said laughing. We were looking at my baby pictures.

"I became prettier tho!!" I said laughing. We became so close that we call each others mom "mom". And when we visit each other's house we just walk in right away.

"Let's watch ICarly!!" I said.

"Alright." then we watched it all night on the computer at his house.

Our parents know each other they were best friends when they were high school students.

Until We needed to move to a different city because Dad was promoted...

"Weston, we'll be moving next week to Toronto." I said with a frown.

"That's okay.. Wait! What?! Why?!" Weston said.

"My Dad got promoted and moved to toronto..." i said when tears began  falling down my cheeks.

"Then why is it so far?" Weston said.

"I don't know." I said crying.

"Don't cry Emily Rose Smith, just promise me you'll come back here and we'll be together again." Weston said.

"I promise." I said and stopped crying.

"Wait, I forgot to give you something." He said and go to the a little table and got something in a small box.

"Here." He gave the box to me. I opened it and it was a necklace that has a W.W.K carved on the back of the white half yin-yang.

Then he showed me his which is a black yin-yang that has E.R.S carved on the back.

"I know that he just met like 5 months ago but I saved enough money to buy these and get them carved." I love him so much. Wait I meant as a Best Friend okay....

"Weston..." I hugged him tightly, then he hugged back tighter.

I packed all my things and the day came...

.

"Please Emily don't break our promise, come back for me." he whispered.

"I would never break our promise." I hugged him.

"Em Let's go!" Damien said. I hugged weston tighter.

Then went to the car. My dad started the car and I was looking at weston all the time until he faded away...
