Lost In the shadows
Living in the shadows i wonder
How everything seemed to go under
With life out of my hands and opportunities
Just waiting, the future seems like its not there
I feel like a girl
Lost in the shadows
My life once had a meaning,
Spending it with people who I realised don’t care
Yet, they are still there, my so called friends
Moved on with life while I stayed behind,
Larking in the shadows, alone with nowhere to be
Though I still see everyone’s enjoyment of life without me
So in the shadows I shall stay because
No one worries to this day
so always and forever there will be
that girl in the shadows and that would be me
