Wandering around my room, I begin to think about Lia. I saw her get hit, slapped, punched, and almost killed...and it hurt. It wasn't supposed to hurt. I was supposed to be happy when people suffered. But looking back on my own life, I see what I did. Sympathy. Sympathy had actually kept me from killing someone...
I returned to the room I left her in, in hopes of telling her about her sister. This would be hard...
When I opened the door, everything was normal. The only difference was the tiny human ball curled up in the corner. "L-Lia?"
...
"Lia I want to talk to you about Macy."
"You killed her, didn't you."
"No...I mean I didn't...Jeff did."
"Jeff...killed...M-Macy...dear god."
Lia's face turned pale and she shook again like before. It kinda scared me. "A-are you okay?"
She snapped, "Does it look like I'm okay? I got kidnapped by people who don't exist after trying to find my lost sister to please my abusive dad, just to find out she was murdered!"
I grabbed my sword expecting a fight, but all I got was her tears down her face. I feel...guilty?
