After what feels like hours, I finally walk into the test room. A bearded man from Erudite is waiting for me. Next to him is a simple desk with a computer and a chair with wires in the seat and the back.
"Please take a seat, Maia Matthews, isn't it?" He says, waving to the chair.
I nod and sit down, slowly. The man takes the wires and connects them to several parts of my head, saying: "I'll explain you how it works, the test is made out of 5 parts, each of them corresponding with a faction. In each of them, you get a choice. The part in which you you make the 'right' choice, is your faction."
I nod. "But what if someone makes twice the right choice? Or nowhere?"
He smiles, gently, there's thought about that, of course. The human mind will always choose only once.
It's hard to explain how, right now. It just is the way it is."
He waves to to wires. "Are you ready"
No
I nod.

The first test
When I open my eyes, I am standing on a bridge. Far under me is a track, and if I look far enough, I can see a train coming.
"Look behind you" a voice suddenly comes out of the nowhere. I turn around, but don't see anyone. But, as I look at the track at the other side of the bridge, I can see someone, standing there, and I know, in some way, that they can't get away. It's a faceless, ageless person, and when they scream I can hear that it is another voice than the one I just heard. The person screams again, and I understand what they want. The train will ride over them if I don't do anything.
I don't know what to do
My family would jump.
But I?
I don't know what I would do.
I wished I wanted to jump.
But I have too much dreams to just give all I have away.
I don't want to lose Maria.
I will lose my whole family if I don't jump.
I am Abnegation.
Am I?
The train comes closer.
If I jump I should do it now.
I don't jump.
