They're both massive sci-fi nerds. America introduced Estonia to Star Wars. Thing is, at the time the films came out, America was in the midst of the Cold War against the Soviet Union, which happened to include Estonia.
Cue America calling Russia threatening to "nuke your commie bitch tits into oblivion unless you send Estonia over so we can watch A New Hope together for the fifteenth time".
Estonia is both grateful and confused.
