"Watch yourself screw boy!"
That's the sentence that got me into today's mess. I really didn't know why I said it although I believe that it was truly justified. He was being a screw boy so I merely called him one.
I mean, I don't know what compelled me too, I'm usually very quiet, and don't talk to people, but I guess since it was just us, I wasn't worried about getting attention, I already had his.
So anyways, it was a normal morning like always, I pulled on some black ripped jeans and a leather jacket. I put my hair into a messy pony tail as my curly hair wasn't exactly neat.
I grabbed my keys and an apple, saying goodbye to my parents and exited the door.
Now I know what you're going to say, why does she drive a motorcycle. But I personally love motorcycles. And my parents bought this one for me a couple weeks ago and this is the first day I get to drive it school, which I'm really excited about by the way.
I quickly hopped on, putting on my matte black helmet and starting it up.
My engine reeved as I left the driveway and down the street. I just felt so free on a motorcycle, you move so fast and there's nothing seperating you from everything in nature.I pulled into the school driveway and was about to park into a parking spot when someone abruptly opened their door, which I almost hit. I slammed on the breaks and stopped right before the door.
Through the helmet I told him off, "Watch yourself screw boy!" I yelled. And slowly went around and into the parking space. Joel Mason stepped out of the sleek black Audi 8. I scoffed.
Here's the deal with my shyness, i'm not shy because I am not confident or had a speech impediment. I was shy cause I didn't want attention. If I spoke out people would look, and that's the opposite of what I wanted, i just wanted to get through unnoticed and unbothered. But Joel was the kind of person who fed on attention, he needs to stop prancing around school like he owned it.
I took my helmet off placed it in the under seat compartment. I pulled out my pony tail shaking out my hair. I put the ponytail back in my hair. Trying to make it less homeless looking.
I saw that Joel was still looking at me, I grabbed my bag and walked inside leaving him there. When I walked into school I kept my head down and pulled on my sleeve. I guess covering my mark turned into a habit.
I made it to my locker and Ava was there. "Oh my god! You'll never guess what I found out yesterday!" Ava yelled excitedly.
"What?" I asked tired. She was a morning person, I wasn't.
"Chad is my match!" She shouted pulling up her sleeve to expose her little x. I smiled at her.
"So let me guess, you've never talked to this guy, but now since you guys have matching marks you automatically love each other?" I asked in sarcastic surprise.
"Just cause your bitter, and have a stick up your ass doesn't mean you need to piss on my parade." She said to me and I grumbled. "He's nice and were going to get to know each other. And also some people see the romance in having a soulmate." I shrugged.
