CHAPTER 4

DAISYS POV

Me and Olivia stumbled up to the children's area in the park, still tightly embraced. A huge weight was lifted off my shoulders as we collapsed on the the swings. This is where we felt safe.

*FLASH BACK*

'no daddy not to high!'

I playfully screamed out as my father began to push me up towards the sky. I giggled as he scooped up me and Olivia in his loving arms and span us around. He slowly Bent down as he dropped us onto the floor, but before he could get up me and Olivia had jumped up on his back. We chanted 'piggie back! Piggie back!' we all flopped onto the rubber foam on the floor in the children's area and broke out into giggles.

*END OF FLASHBACK!*

My happy thoughts were interrupted as footsteps approached from behind us.

I turned round to see two teenagers heading in our direction. One had black skinny jeans on and he had soft curls peeking out off the dark hood he had over his head. I was unable to glance at his face as the hoodie had shadowed it from my sight.

The other has dirty blonde hair that illuminated his bright blue eyes in the darkness.

They seemed familiar. I flinched back to his touch on my shoulder, I small tear cascaded down my face as I whipsered
