Zack walked out of school, planning the perfect outfit for the party Samantha had invited him at. He got into his car and drove off. He stopped by a shop, to get some crisps and coke. He paid the cashier and when he was leaving, he saw the girl he bumped into in the morning. She was looking at some jewelry. He remembered her beautiful blue eyes. He wanted to keep staring at them. He walked up to her. She was admiring this locket. It had a little swan on it. And there was a little pearl on it. It was pretty. She looked at the price tag and then she dropped it.
She saw a shadow casting on her. She looked up and saw the guy, who kept her from concentrating in class.
“Ummm…hi, we met this morning”, Zack said to her. He had his hands in his pockets.
“Hi, I’m sorry about it. I was thinking about something, and I accidentally bumped into you. You are okay right?” Vanessa asked. She nervously looked down.
“No, I’m fine. I was just wondering, why I haven’t met you ever at school?”
“Hmmm…I think probably because I don’t stay out much. I’m usually busy with school work.”
“Oh, okay. I almost forgot, I’m Zack, and you are?”
“I’m Vanessa.”
“I know this is really weird and all. But, ummm, can we exchange phone numbers?” Zack shyly asked. He was biting his lip in regret. How stupid of you, Zack thought to himself. He was a player. But he actually felt shy in front of her.
Vanessa pondered about this and then she smiled and said, “Yeah, sure”. Zack looked up, surprised, he grinned at her. He was never this excited about getting a girl’s phone number.
Zack took out his cell phone from his pocket and passed it to Vanessa. She took out hers from her Converse bag, and gave it to him. They both saved their numbers on each other’s phone and returned it to them respectively.
“So aren’t you going to buy that necklace?” Zack asked, finding nothing else to talk about
“Nah, I think I’ll leave it. It was pretty though.” Vanessa said, looking back at the necklace, which she had earlier liked but had put it back.
“Okay then, so I guess we’ll meet again later.” Zack said.
“Yeah, okay!” Vanessa said with an energetic smile.
Zack and Vanessa both walked out of the shop together. Zack offered Vanessa a ride back home, but she refused saying that she preferred walking.
As Vanessa walked away, and found her nowhere in sight, Zack quickly hurried back into the store. It seemed like he had forgotten something.
Vanessa woke up to the heavy metal music was playing. It was 7:00 pm, she saw looking at the clock next to her bed. She was asleep for 3 hours. She was so tired that she came back home and fell asleep. She glanced over sister. She was trying this new outfit. It was a black cocktail dress with black laced sleeves.
“It looks pretty.” Vanessa said sitting up straight, and giving out a loud yawn. Everything she had seen on her sister looked pretty.
“Humph. I think I’ll return it. It doesn’t seem like the perfect outfit for tonight’s bonfire party.” Keisha said, as she looked at herself at the mirror.
“But this looks pretty!” Vanessa protested acting like a kid.
“I’ll just wear this.” Keisha was holding a white mini dress. The top bit of the dress was laced and the bottom bit included a pure white silk cloth that ended just below her knees.
Vanessa stared at it. It was so beautiful. She imagined herself in it, with the necklace she had seen earlier. The image was blurry in her mind but she could imagine herself in it. With her beautiful wavy layered blonde hair. And her beautiful blue eyes.
“Hello! Vanessa to Earth! Were you even listening to me?” Keisha interrupted, Vanessa’s imagination.
“OH, I’m sorry. You were saying?” Vans resumed, forgetting the image in her mind.
“I was asking, what you thought about the dress.” Keisha said, sounding annoyed.
“It will look just perfect!” Vanessa answered, with a beautiful smile in her face.
Zack was getting out of his car. He was standing in front of Samantha’s house. There was so much noise outside her house. There were people shouting and sounds of people splashing in the water.
When Zack entered the backyard, where the pool was, he was stunned. The place was his dream place. There were drinks and girls walking around half-naked. He grinned himself. The moment he stepped in, everyone started screaming and shouting. Zack Rands had just walked in. The party had to be totally awesome now. He was the king of drinking and partying. He was the star quarterback of the football team, and he was the star. People would go crazy to talk to him. He would be nice sometimes but, when it was time for him to mentor the freshman, he would make them work. Zack would make the freshman football team do everything for him. They would have to run around the whole school just to do a tiny job for him.
Samantha walked up to Zack. She was wearing a pink bikini and she was wet. It seemed like she just got out of the water. “ So how do you like my party?” Samantha asked, she had a witty smile on her face.
Zack immediately opened his t-shirt. He ran towards the pool and stopped right at the edge. He turned to look at Samantha, and screamed “THIS PARTY IS JUST SHEER AWESOME!” And he jumped into the pool, causing a very big splash.
Everyone around started screaming and shouting cheering for the popular star quarterback. The party had just started. There was still the whole night left.
Samantha stood there grinning. Zack was in the water and indicated Samantha to come in. She ran and dived in to the water next to Zack. This caused another cheer among the many popular invited to the party. Zack and Samantha kissed each other. Everyone sounded out a “OOOOOO”. Zack and Samantha started laughing. They pulled apart and suddenly someone put on some music. Everyone at the party started dancing. Zack and Samantha danced to standing really closed to each other.
The whole night of me standing next to Samantha and making out with her with food and booze, just amazing, Zack thought to himself.
