Samantha is a shy, smart, beautiful girl. A lot of students take advantage of her shyness. Jonathan is the typical bad boy that every girl falls for, his attitude and charm makes every girl crawl to his feet.

"Good morning class, how is everyone today?" The professor asked. "I want you all to get together in groups for your assignment, you have to pick a song, explain why it is your favorite and present it to the class," he explained.

Samantha found herself wandering while everyone got picked except her. She sighed, "I guess I'm alone again," she thought.

She began working on the project, she felt someone staring at her but she didn't bother to look.

"Hey! I can be your partner," he said chewing his gum loudly.

She turned around to see Jonathan just staring at her, she knew he was only picking her to get an easy A on the assignment.

"That's fine," she whispered.

He dragged his chair and placed it beside her, "What song did you pick?"

"Aren't you going to least introduce yourself?"

He scoffed, "I guess I should but I already know your name Samantha." He took the strand of her hair away from her face and placed it behind her ear. "I'm Jonathan."

"Nice name," she mocked.

"I like yours better," he just stared at her, "You know you're beautiful Sam."

His touch sent shivers down her spine, she was nervous by having him this close. She knew he was always like this around every girl he was interested in. His relationships didn't last long, he used them and moved on to the next. She wasn't going to fall for him, not for his trap.

"I think we better get started on this," she said nervously.

He chuckled, he knew he had her in the palm of her hands.

"I picked 'Bring Me To Life' by Evanescence, what do you think?"

"I never thought you would be interested in that type of music," he whispered.

"There's a lot you don't know about me Jonathan," she responded.

Their moment was interrupted when the bell rang. "Students, please work with your partners outside of class too. Have a nice day everyone," the professor suggested.

"How about I come over to your house?" Jon asked.

"I think that's fine, I'm going to my locker, meet me in the front entrance in five minutes," she said.

He nodded.

Samantha went to leave a few books in her locker. "God, why is this happening? I can't fall for him, I refuse to," she told herself.

She went to the school's front entrance to find Jonathan. He was resting his back on the wall. His slid back blonde hair that he brushed back with his hands and those beautiful blue eyes. Samantha couldn't help but stare at his beauty, she had to concentrate, not think of him that way.

"Hey, Sam, are you ready?"

"Oh, yeah, sorry."

"You okay there Sam?"

"I'm fine, I was just thinking."

"About me?" He teased her.

"No," she scoffed, "you're full of yourself, you know that?"

"That's not what most girls say."

Samantha rolled her eyes.

Her house was about a mile from the school, she always used the walk to think about everything or listen to music.

She unlocked the front door, "Welcome, come inside."

She turned on the lights. Jonathan just wandered around, "Sam, where are your parents?"
