Ray's POV
I held Phil's hand as we wiggled past the crowd at Kings Cross Station. We had a most pleasant and entertaining week, though Reggie never wrote to me while I was gone.
"You see that girl with the dirty blonde hair," I pointed, she was entering the train with another young woman by her side.
"Yes I see her," Phil pulled his hair into a ponytail. We put our bags away, except my messenger bag with Bobby and chocolate inside.
"That's Pandora. I think you'd like her Philly, you should totally ask her on a date!" I smirked and we passed the two girls, a Ravenclaw and a Hufflepuff. If I remember correctly Pandora was a Hufflepuff.
"Dating. What an interesting subject!" Phil walked into our usual compartment, it was the compartment I'd first met Regulus and I'd always used this compartment. All of us had even carved our initials into the walls.
"Who is dating who?" Barty tapped on my back and smiled, followed behind him was Narcissa. She was nice but it was just awkward for Regulus to say his feelings with the possibility she would tell her family, so she never hung with us.
"You're dating that nice Dementor girl, right Bart?" I teased and gently placed my bag down and Bobby popped out. Lucius walked in with red lipstick smudged on his cheek, making us laugh.
"Where is Reggie?" I stood up, and poked my head out of the door. He was nowhere in sight.
"Didn't he miss the train? I think Sirius was talking about that, his mom was going to bring him to Hogwarts via apparition." Lucius shrugged and I panicked, why would Reg miss the train?! Was he hurt? Was he sick? Did he get in trouble?
"Oh Merlin, I'll be right back, I've got to talk to Sirilust!" Barty laughed at my nickname for Sirius, I mainly called him that because 1. He calls Severus Snape "Snivellus Greasy" and 2. He is such a player. Lucius sat back and rolled his eyes at my worried behaviour. I opened the door more and nodded to Phil before closing the door and running off.
I knew if I had to speak to Sirius I would be putting myself in the position to talk to James. I might as well forgive him for good, he did promise he was sorry. I passed many compartments, finally stopping the Trolley ma'am who was giving handfuls of candy to Peter and Remus. They must be here.
"Hello Rem. Is Sirius here? I need to speak to him." The Trolley woman left with a large smile from her profits, letting me stand at the doorframe.
"Raymond. What do you want?" Sirius stood up, smirking and raising his eyebrows. Merlin this boy is a flirt, I swore I was "off limits" from the Marauders and the rest of Hogwarts.
"Where is Regulus?" I was blunt, I didn't have any other reason to talk to Sirius, Peter, or James. Although I enjoyed Remus, he was perfect.
"I don't know!! My stupid little brother was late, he was talking to someone and didn't get dressed in time," Sirius slumped as he realised I could careless about him. Who was Regulus talking to?
"He isn't stupid. Anyways do you have an idea who he was talking to or were you to busy snogging your current catch?" I grumbled, I caught James eyes. He was contemplating talking to me, I have a feeling when I go to leave he'll finally say something.
