i wake up to my name being called a couple times. at first, i was too tired to actually recognize who was calling my name.

nick.

i see a few large men behind him trying to grab me and pull me up.

"can you stand?," i hear one of them say. "i can try," i respond, groggily.

as i try to stand, i realize there is no way that i am going to be able to. i feel the pain shoot through my body as i try to stand, especially in my side. i start to fall and nick catches me.

"who did this to you?," he asks.

my first thought was that i could not remember what happened until a picture flashes in my mind of bobby punching me over and over again and dragging me to some kind of boiler room, which i'm guessing is where we are right now.

"bobby," i answer, "bobby burke."

"that little... ugh! i'm gonna kill him," nick reacts.

"nick, call an ambulance. i think she broke a rib and she punctured her liver. she needs to be treated now."

i look over to see who has impossibly diagnosed me and it is no other than chris pratt, the second love of my life.
this guy just saved ma damn life bruh. that is whACKK!

boom.

i'm out cold. no wonder i was thinking in such a disgusting manner. did i seriously say bruh. what was i thinking. thank GOD i didn't say that out loud.

when i wake up for a second time, i see nick and chris sitting across the room talking to a doctor. they seem to be learning some pretty interesting stuff from this guy. inevitably about me.

i see nick look towards me and not notice the first time that i was awake, but noticing after a double take towards where i was laying.

"oh my god, thank god you're okay," he says while gently kissing my forehead.

"yeah, thank god. i don't know what nick here would have done without you," chris says. this is definitely a dream. i am not sitting here right now.

"i thought the last thing i was going to hear from you would be 'this guy just saved my damn life bruh. that is whack.'"

i freaking said it out loud. wow. typical lydia. nice one you iDIO-

"um, babe. are you talking out loud again?"

AGAIN WHAT KIND OF PSYCHO AM I??

"alright, you are not a psycho lydia. you are fine," chris says.

twice in a row i think i am talking to myself and i'm saying it out loud. wait, how long was i even out.

"nick, how long was i out?"

"you were in a coma for about 36 hours before you came-to. you're ribs punctured more organs than we originally thought and you had to have major surgery to heal them all. you fell into the coma during the surgery."

"who won rupaul?"

"what?" all three of them say simultaneously.

"who won rupaul's drag race i was in the so-called "coma" when they announced the winner."

"violet, violet chachki won," i hear a voice say from across the room. colleen. i knew it from the minute she said chachki.

"coll! oh my god i missed you!" i say giving her a huge hug as i still lay in the bed. ayden follows not too far behind her.

"you cannot just slip into a coma and not text me about it. nick was the one who had to tell me!," she joked.

"follow up question: who won mrs. congeniality?"

"katya of course!"

"god i missed you coll," i say as i hug her and see ayden standing behind her from a distance, "and i guess, you too, ayden," i say, opening my arms for a warm embrace.

"i'm not gonna lie," ayden says, "i was very worried about you. i thought i was gonna have to deal with the tears of this one for i don't know how long." colleen slaps him.

"but no, for real, i'm happy you're okay."

this is what i want. everyone who i love and cherish together, yes, including chris, being brought together, maybe by something tragic, but we are still all together, with all our love pouring out of our hearts for one another.

something short but just something to update and wrap up what happened in the last chapter. hopefully something better by the next update. sorry this one took so long!! peace and blessings, peace... and blessings.
