Mom I love you, I really do
But sometimes I wonder if you do too
if you did why would you bring me
into a world such as this
A world where monsters seek to devour
my mind, my body, my soul.
You knew this world
You knew it's malevolent mind
You knew everything
Yet like a hopeful fool, you brought me in this world
Or perhaps it was the other way
The world has robbed so much of you
You needed to call me your own
Perhaps in a prison
you needed a long awaited cell mate.
