Chapter Forty

NO ONES POV
Caroline finally got out of the hospital and Hayley went to go pick her up.

"Are you happy to be out"said Hayley driving
"Very"
"You know Chandler likes you"

"Oh yeah I've known that for ages"she laughed "he thinks I don't know but I'm his best friend I know when he likes someone"

"Really"
"Yeah but he's my best friend that's all"she turned up the radio and heard One Direction.

"OMG it's one direction!"said Hayley and Caroline at the same time and start singing.

LATER ON
"Ice cream?"asked Hayley
"Uh yes!"

Hayley laughed and stops at the ice cream shop and gets some ice cream and starts driving home.

Hayley stopped in front of Caroline's house and saw Klaus sitting out in the front "Uh"

"What?" Caroline looked over where Hayley was looking and saw Klaus.

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"No I think me and him should have a chat"
"Ok but text me if anything happens ok"
"Yeah"Caroline said and got off the car.

Caroline walked I front of her house and looked at Klaus.
"Can we please talk?"asked Klaus

"We'll talk inside"

A LITTLE LATER ON
Caroline sits down on the couch facing Klaus.
"I'm so sorry for everything Care I really am"
Caroline sighs slightly.

"I was completely stupid for leaving you when you told me about the baby I freaked out and had no idea what to do then I found it that you were starving yourself and cutting and I wish I could take it all back" he looked at Caroline and saw she was crying.

Caroline hugged him and buried her head into his chest.

A WHILE LATER
"I think it would be a good idea if we stay friends for a while"

"Don't worry I understand love"

THE NEXT DAY
Hayley and Caroline went shopping and Caroline told Hayley about what happened with Klaus.
"I think it's a good idea if you guys didn't get back together straight away"

"Me too but you don't understand how bad I wanted to kiss him"

A WEEK LATER
Caroline was sitting down in Klaus's class
"Okay so class today you guys will be getting back your test results some good some bad"
Klaus started walking around passing around the papers.

Caroline looked at hers and saw she got a D.
Klaus looked at her and continued passing the tests around.

AFTER CLASS
Caroline got her stuff and headed for the door.
"Caroline can you stay behind?"
Caroline sighed and walked over to him.

"It's about your grade"
"I know it was terrible"
"What's going on you were getting A's and B's"
"I can't think in class there's too many things on my mind"
"Like what?"
"You"mumbled Caroline
"Really"
She nodded
