Chapter 5:

(Em's POV)

Around two o'clock Kendall went threw the drive thru at McDonalds and we got chicken nuggets. After that, we continued driving. I asked him where we were going, but he said it was a surprise. Three hours later, we were still driving. "Kendall, it's already five o'clock! Where are we going?!" I asked. "Chill out! We're almost there, em." Five minutes later, we pulled into a huge parking lot. This place was packed! "Can you tell me where we are now?" "Yeah, we're at this new club. It's called electricity." "So you drove me three hours away to take me to a bar?" "Yep! I'm gonna get you drunk." "I don't know about that..." "Come on! Please, em!" I thought about it for a second. I've only gotten drunk once in my life, and it ended really bad. "Okay, but I'm only doing this for you." I decided. Kendall smiled at me and gave me a kiss on the lips. "I love you, em." "I love you too." We sat there and smiled at each other for a few seconds. "Ready?" Kendall asks. I nod. He comes and opens the door for me. I blush and we walked to the door together he grabs my hand and says "you look beautiful, even without your booty shorts." He smiled and I laughed. "Thanks, babe." I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Whoa! You found your booty call already?" A voice behind us said sarcastically. "Hey, man!" Kendall calls out. "And just so you know, she's not a booty call. She's my girlfriend." Kendall smiling. The guy laughed. "You have a girlfriend? Whatever!" He continued laughing. "Logan, shut up!" He punched 'Logan' playfully in the arm. Kendall grabbed my hand. "Emily, this is Logan. He's one of my best friends." I wave and Logan comes up to me. He grabbed my my waist and pulled me into him. Logan gave me a kiss on my cheek, which was way to close to my lips. I felt really uncomfortable. Kendall came and pushed Logan off of me. "Dude, what the hell?!" Kendall screamed. "Whoa, chill out man! It was just a kiss in the cheek." Logan said laughing.

"It's not funny, dude! That's my girlfriend and I actually love her! She's not just some slut!" Kendall screamed. You could tell he was getting really pissed. "I'm sorry, bro." He said to Kendall. Then he turned to me. "And I'm sorry Emily. I was just mess'n around." "It's okay." I said, still feeling violated and uncomfortable. "Make up hug?" Logan said, coming towards me. "No thanks!" I answered. Kendall grabbed me and held me tight in his arms and whispered "I'm sorry my friends such a whore." I laughed. "It's okay. It's not your fault." I said. "Hello! I'm right here!" Logan said sarcastically. We all laughed and walked inside together. Kendall didn't let go of me. It felt good to be in his arms again. "So where are all the guys at?" Kendall asked Logan. "I don't know." He answered. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom." I whispered to Kendall. "I'll be right here when you get back." I nodded and went to find the restroom. It was way in the back corner. I go to push through the door, when all of the sudden, someone tickles my sides from my sides. "Ahh!" I screamed. "Relax, em. It's just me." A familiar voice said. I turned around and saw Carlos standing behind me giggling. "Carlos! What are you doing here?!" I said, freaking out inside. "Going to the bathroom..." He said sarcastically. I tried not to laugh, but I couldn't help it. "Just kidding, I'm here with some of my friends. What about you?" He said smiling. Damn he got hot! "Oh, I'm here with my boyfriend and his friends." I answered. "Oh, fun." He says sarcastically. "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked. "I hate going with my girlfriend and her friends. It just makes me feel so out of place, ya know?" Carlos explained. "Yeah, it's pretty awkward. Especially when one of them is a man whore." I said and we both giggled. "I missed you, em." I looked down at the floor, feeling uncomfortable. "But, just as a friend! I have a girlfriend." Carlos added. "I miss you too, but just as a friend." I said. "Em, we were never more then just friends. It happened one time and we were both completely wasted. I can tell you feel uncomfortable right now, but you shouldn't. I miss having my best friend around." Carlos said, looking like he was about to cry. "I really missed you, too!" I said hugging him. "And I'm sorry. I shouldn't have just stopped talking to you for a year. It's just, I was really scared." I said, feeling guilty. "It's okay. Just promise me you'll keep in touch." I nodded. "Well, I have to go before he starts to worry about me." I said. "Me too! I didn't even have time to pee yet." Carlos said. I laughed and let go of him. "I have to go this way." I said pointing right. "Me too." Carlos laughed. When I saw the table, Carlos turned and gave me a hug. "I gotta go, but I'll see you around." Carlos said and continued walking straight. I looked to my right and saw the dance floor. It was huge! "Carlos!" Kendall screamed. I turned my head and saw Kendall bro hugging Carlos. Holy shit. I saw an empty spot between Carlos and Kendall. It was the only one left. I walked up from behind and sat in the chair. Carlos turned and looked at me. He froze for a second. "Hey, what are you doing here, em?" Carlos asked me. "That's my girlfriend." Kendall interrupted and then kissed me on the lips. I was still in shock. Then, I realized someone was sitting next to Logan. He guy turned his head and my mouth dropped. "James?" I said in disbelief. "Oh, hey em!" He said nervously. "I haven't seen you in forever." James continued. "Yeah..." I said. "Oh my god, you can almost feel the awkward in here." Logan said sarcastically, touching the air in front of him. This was gonna be a long night.
