"Wanna watch a movie?" I rummaged through the keys looking for my house key.
"Yeah, do you have any scary movies?" She questioned.
"Really? You're going to ask ME that?" I sarcastically said as I swung the door open.
"As long as its a legit scary movie, and not one of those cheesy Netflix ones." She giggled.
After what happened nearly 24 hours ago I never expected her to be so cheerful. But I'm glad she was. This was the Olivia I had fallen in love with. And I would do whatever it takes to keep her happy.
I popped in The Exorcist as she set up the T.V trays to place our food on.
"Now try not to get too scared." I nudged her as I took the spot next to her on the couch.
"Oh please Sammy, I'll try not too." She sarcastically spat out.
We sat in the dark, our eyes glued to the T.V watching and observing every single scene from the movie. Not once touching our food which was at that point already cold and not even worth it.
Every suspenseful scene that came on brought Olivia closer and closer to me. I didn't know if she could handle any more before she was practically sitting on my lap, which I didn't mind.
