Before the guys could notice I walked out of Sammy's house. Reality hit me and I had completely lost Olivia. I knew after the shit she pulled she wasn't leaving to Paris for work. She was going to stay here. For Sammy. She was going to stay.
I was sitting on the porch trying to wrap my head around everything, when the door creeked open. It was Olivia.
"Can I just ask you why?" She spoke as she took the vacant spot next to me.
"Because I'm an idiot." Was all I could say.
She shook her head before replying. "Because you don't realize you have something good until you see someone else has it."
I nodded because she was right. I had something good with her and now that I see her kissing Sam I realize it.
"Do you love him?" I asked.
"He's my comfort zone. When everything goes wrong I come to him and when everything goes right he's here. You know, he was the first person I told about Paris. And he supported me. He didn't throw me shade and stop talking to me for a week. Knowing that I had only two weeks here. Now I'm not going, I'm going to stay."
"Is it for him?"
"Yeah Jack it is. I'm staying for him, and myself. Because who the hell am I going to go too while I'm out there? Whose house am I going to run to with tears staining my face?"
Hearing her say that he was the reason she was staying absolutely crushed me.
"So I wasn't reason enough for you to stay?"
She shook her head. "No you weren't. How many times have you hurt me since you've been here Jack? How many times have you cheated on me? I figured if I went it would cut ties with you and we would grow apart. But you just jumped right into the break up process with out actually breaking up with me first."
I couldn't sit here and listen to anymore so I got up and started to walk to the truck. When she stopped me in my tracks.
"Go ahead and run from your problems like usual. Typical Jack. When you run to her tell her I said hi." I looked back as she stood up and walked back inside.
