Super Junior (Korean : 슈퍼주니어, Syupeo Junieo) is a South Korean boy band. Formed by SM Entertainment, it consisted of 13 members at its peak. Super Junior originally debuted with 12 members under the name of "Super Junior'05" in 2005. An addition of the 13th member was done after 6 months of Super Junior's debut.
