Chapter 8

Phoenix P.O.V.

It's been two years since I ran and life has been better. Escaping to New York has been the smartest thing I ever done.

I got a job as a waitress working at Ling's Cafe as I have to pay for my dorm with my roommate Donnae. I am going to college and does classes in the mornings and get the evening off to go to work.

I am currently at work as business is slow as usual and the place is practically empty.

As few of the workers are probably hooking up or on their lunch break. As I was about to move a figure was blocking my way, looking at the figure I realised that it was Breanna.

I caught her and the boss hooking up a few times, but didn't think much of it until Mrs. Ling came into work that day to visit her husband.

*Flashback*

It was a boring day at work. No one was coming so us workers were either slacking off or some were hooking up. I have walked in on a lot of these conquests and saw a lot of bushes and shrubs if you know what I mean.

The latest conquest is said to be of our boss and a female worker. I personally didn't believe until I heard the moaning and groaning.

As they say see and blind, hear and deaf I held my head up high not after taking a peek to see who is this female worker.

To my shock(not really) is was Breanna. I didn't trust my eyes maybe she wasn't a whore.

I went back to the front of the cafe just as I saw Mrs. Ling entering. Oh this is going to be fun.

She walked up to me and asked me were was her husband in that cute British accent of hers.

She chuckled and disappeared. Not even a minute later we heard the sound of crashing and screaming. Breanna and Mrs. Ling rolled out in a tumble. Breanna was in her birthday suit as Mrs. Ling gripped her hair in a fist and started to bang her head in the floor. By this time the others employees were either videoing the scene or laughing.

Mrs. Ling was got off her a dragged her by the hair and into the bathroom, the only thing we heard was the toilet flushing and Breanna screaming.

Where was Mr. Ling during all this. We found him in his office knocked out and butt naked with a shoes up his ass.

From that day they got a divorce and never spoke to each other.

She approached me with a vicious smirk on her face.

"Hey bitch, how is that lesbian roommate of yours?" She hissed.

I rolled my eyes at her and turned my face in the other direction.

"What afraid to answer, its pity your both boyfriend less, I mean which guy or girl would be blind enough to date pathetic little sluts like you." She stated with a smirk. Oh its on bitch.

"Retail dog and wholesale john crow please hop off my back. Are you a security camera, stop zoom in on my business or I will slap you out of focus." I retorted just as hotly.

"How dare you!" she shouted in a high pitched voice.

"How dare me, how dare you to be with a ugly old man who soon dead, man cemetery. Bitch a my make up you a try get into well you is not the puff sweetheart. Hey go and argue with the hair on your head it want to wash, dry clean,and hang out ." I said with just as much attitude as her.

"I will report you!" She screamed running off to inform her sugar daddy.

"Phoenix!"Mr. Ling came out screaming.

"That's my name, speak you mind or forever hold your peace." "What do you want rolling calf." I answered bored.

He glared at me so I glared back at him. He's not the only one with eyes to do that.

"No questions asked, I cannot tolerate you behaviour, you are fired." He said in a shrill voice.

I gave them the one finger salute and swaggered out the cafe like a boss.

As I left the cafe I realised that it was night. I hurried home as I know that most sexual perverts are out at this time.

Walking on the lonely street I had a feeling that I was being followed. I walked past a alley and was suddenly pushed up against a wall. This mysterious person started to sniff my neck as I thrashed around in his hold.

I tried to scream but my efforts proved futile as he covered my mouth.

I begged and pleaded, but my cries fell on deaf ears. He held me against the wall and raped me as the tears fell against my cheeks.

I dragged my self up as I staggered home. I reached my apartment and threw my things on the floor.

I didn't bother checking on Donnae as I made my way into the bathroom to wah off the grime and sweet.

I sat in the bathroom as I cried until my eyes became heavy and I drifted off into a deep sleep.

Unknown P.O.V.

I lost my mate I a rogue fight and has never been the same since. My pack has been trying to get me out and one night they successfully did it. We were at s bar stone drunk. I decided to call it quits and went home on journey I stumbled upon a young lady and followed her discreetly.
