Chapter Four- Cutting and Comas

Jess's POV 

Ty laid down with me. He made me feel wanted for once. "Ty why haven't you left me yet?" I asked. "Jess....I care about you. I won't leave you or let anyone hurt you." He said. He cares about me? "Ty what do you mean you care about me?" I asked. "I mean I don't want you gone." He said and hugged me. Oh my god! I need to get out of here! Oh wait....."Ty I have something to do! Be back in an hour." I said quickly and left.

Ty's POV 

I was about to tell her how I feel about her and she left me. I just wonder where she is going? 

~An hour later~

Jess opened the door. I looked at her shocked. She was out getting her lip pierced and left me! "Does your lip hurt any?" I asked. "No." She said plainly. I couldn't help but notice her beauty. I found myself really close to her. She looked up at me. I gently put my lips against her's. 

Jess's POV

Oh my god! Ty is kissing me! Is he going to hurt me? Oh my god! 

I pulled away. I looked into his big brown eyes. He didn't look like how Casey did. "Ty.....Wh-why did you k-kiss me?" I asked. "Jess I like you a lot." He said. He likes me? Do i like him back?....No! Love is a way to get you hurt. I don't wanna be more hurt!!! "Ty I don't like you get out!" I said. His eyes started to tear up. "Alright Jess. I will. Goodbye Jess....I'll miss you." He said wearily and ran to his house. "Great job! Now I've fucked things up even more!" I yelled and went to the bathroom. 

I got out the blade. "One for being a dumb ass.*Cut* Another for breaking Ty's heart.*Cut* Three for pulling away.*Cut* And finally four for fucking up everything." The last on was bigger and deeper than the rest. Everything was getting blurry. I got out my phone and texted Percy. 'Bye friend.' And then I texted Ty. 'I'm sorry Ty. You saved me and I was a bitch .Now I deserve to die. Goodbye.' A tear fell on my screen as everything went black. 

Ty's POV 

I got to my house and went to my room. About 5 minutes later I got a text.

'From: That cutie with the piercing<3

I'm sorry Ty. You saved me and I was a bitch. Now I deserve to die. Goodbye.'

"No!" I yelled and ran over there. I tried to open the door but it was locked. Damn! Back door! I went and it wasn't locked. I ran inside. I ran to the bathroom where I found her. Blade and phone in her hands. Three small cuts on her wrist and one huge one. I knelled down beside her. "No!" I yelled. I quickly got out my phone and called 911. I remember what the lady had me do last time and I did it. 

"Hello. 911 what's your emergency?" The man said. "My my girlfriend is her bleeding to death! She cit herself and she passed out! Please help!" I said crying. "Are you trying to stop the blood from leaving her body?" The man asked. "Yes! Now fucking send someone to help!" I said. "Okay sir. We have the address and the cops will be there shortly." He said. 

Soon the medics were here and took Jess to the hospital. One came up to me. "Are you the boyfriend?" He asked. "Well.....No not really. I said that because I love her a lot. And she knows but she said she doesn't like me that way. I just have no clue why I said boyfriend." I said. "It's okay sir. And I can tell you love her. You saved her life. Well maybe...." He said. "Maybe?" I asked. "She lost a lot of blood and we are not sure if she'll make it or not." He said and I started to cry. "Sir go to the hospital." He said. I nodded and went to my car and went to the hospital Jess was going to be at. 

When I got there I went to the ER. "Hello sir. Metal detector." The guard said. "I don't have metal or anything. See?" I said putting my phone on the table and walking through it. It didn't beep so I grabbed my phone and quickly hurried to the desk. "Ummm hello. Is Jess Rice here yet?" I asked quickly. "Jess Rice?" She asked. "Uhhhhh Jessica? Jessie? I'm not sure what her full name is." I said. "Rice.....Oh my god! Dr.Rice's daughter? I'll look." She said and typed in Jess's name and found her. "Room 118. And it's Jessica. Her real name is Jessica Rice." She said. 

I ran to room 118. I walked in and found her. She had so many wires and stuff hooked up to her. I sat down next to her. "Jess you'll be alright. I know you will." I said and kissed her forehead. Someone came in. "Who are you?" Asked a doctor. "I'm Ty. Will she be okay?" I asked. "She might. We think she is in a coma. But she might now make it. And how do you know her?" He asked. "From school and she lives next to me." I said. "Not unless you are my neighbor. She is my daughter. She will come back with me and her step-mother." He said looking at Jess and his eyes started to tear up. "Step mom?" I asked. "Well....Her birth mom died when she was very little. So I re married and she doesn't know about that. But then that wife was really mean to Jessica and used to beat her when I wasn't home. She ran away when I was married to that wife. When she left I blamed my wife and we got a divorce. Then I re married again and I want my little girl back." He said. "Can't you just move in with her?" I asked. "We could....." He said and thought about it. "Oh my goodness! You are brilliant!" He said. 

I was holding Jess's hand and stroking it with my thumb. "What are you doing?" Her dad asked when he waked in. "Staying with her." I said. "I can tell you love her." He said. "Yes. Yes I do." I said.

~Two months later~

I went everyday. Before and after school. To visit her,hoping she will wake up. It's been two months. They said she was in a coma. Right now I'm heading over there and then staying for the day. 

I finally got there and went to her room. All the nurses looked at me and smiled. I walked into her room. I almost burst into tears. There she was...awake. "Jess!!!" I said. "Ty?" She asked. "Yes it's me! I missed you so much! I was here everyday! And now you are awake!" I said crying tears of joy. I hugged her. "Ty let go! Your choking me!" She said and I let go. "I'm so glad you're back!" I said.
