"I don't know,Runa... My dad... h-he wouldn't like it." Hiccup told me one afternoon. I had just asked Hiccup if he wanted to go explore further out into the woods of Berk. "Aw c'mon,Hiccup. It'll be fun!" I pleaded. "But what about the dragons?" Hiccup asked. "I'm not scared of them,and you shouldn't be either." I said,pointing at Hiccup.
I guess I should explain who I am. You may know Hiccup,but but not me.
My name is Runa Odinson. I am fourteen years old. I have brown hair,and blue eyes,and I'm five feet tall. Oh yeah, also the village's worst viking,according to his dad,is my best friend. And that kid is Hiccup Haddock.
"Runa,we have to stay. We have to-"
"Oh really? All you talk about is 'we have to do this,we have to do that'. Why can't you just have a little fun?" I interrupted Hiccup. He sighed, "I just want to fit in... And running off into the woods isn't the best way to go." Hiccup said. "Fine." I sighed. "Okay. Now let's go finish our work in the armory." Hiccup said,pulling me around Berk.
*An hour later*
"This is boring." I said,as I held a sword for Hiccup. "Yeah,well," He said,hitting the sword with a malet. "We'll just have to get used to it."
"Why though? Don't you want something more? Something more... interesting?" I asked. "Runa,Please." Hiccup said,hitting the sword again. "Uuuughh!" I groaned. Hiccup sighed, "Runa,you know my Dad Doe-"
"Doesn't like when we do stuff like that,I know." I sighed. "Which is why we have to stay in town." Hiccup said. He had just stuck the sword in a barrel of cool water,when Gobber came over to us.
"Alright,you two can go do whatever it is you do. I'll finish up here." He said. "Yes!" Hiccup said,pulling the sword out of the water. "Alright!" I cheered, "C'mon Hiccup!" I pulled Hiccup out so fast he had hardly enough time to put the sword and tools down.
"Alright,can we go now? Pleeaaase?" I begged. "Fiine." Hiccup sighed.
"Awesome!" I pulled Hiccup to the forest.
"Uhh..." Hiccup muttered. "Oh c'mon Hiccup. It'll be fine." I said.
"Runa,are you sure we should-"
"Hiccup. Do you trust me?" I asked.
"Well,yeah,but-"
"Then c'mon!" I grabbed Hiccup's hand and pulled him in the woods.
