~The Next Day~

I walked over to the armory to do my day's work helping Gobber.
"Hey Gobber." I said,ignoring Hiccup,who was sharpening a sword.
"Mornin' Lassie." Gobber said to me.
"Whatcha got for me today?" I asked, still ignoring Hiccup. "Here. You can start with this." Gobber said, handing me a bent up sword. "On it." I walked over to the fire, and stuck the bent up sword inside.
"So,Gobber. What would happen if we... Oh,I don't know,befriended a dragon?" I asked casually.
Gobber stopped with what he was doing, and looked at me.
"It's never a good idea to befriend a dragon,Lassie. They're cold hearted killers." Gobber said. "Also the chief wouldn't be very happy with ya."
I sighed, "Yeah,you're right."

~Later that day~

I grabbed a shield and my axe and headed towards the wood, but before I got there,I heard,
"Runa!"
It was Hiccup! I ran as if my life depended on if Hiccup saw me or not.
I got inside the woods, and hid behind a tree, breathing heavily from running. As I was trying to quiet my heavy breathing,I heard Hiccup again.
"Runa! Where are you?" He called.
I sighed silently, knowing that he didn't see me and know where I was going.
"Runa?"
I whip around and see Snotlout coming towards me.
"What are YOU doing out in the woods?" He asked.
"I,uh..." I looked at my shield and axe and said, "I'm just... Practicing." I lied.
"Sure you are." Snotlout crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow.
"

I am. I swear it! Just... need to,ya know, relieve some stress... heh heh." That was half true. I was kinda stressed about mine and Hiccup's Fight. I looked at the ground.
"Why don't I join you?" Snotlout smirked.
"I,uh..." I decided to try and act a little like Astrid here. "Do you want to be hit in the head with my axe?" I asked.
'Really,Runa? That's the best you could come up with?" I mentally scolded myself.
"Okay,okay." Snotlout left.
I sighed, and ran off into the woods.

~Later~

"No turning back." I said to myself,as I got on my knees and crawled to the edge of the cliff. I looked over the edge and saw the Nadder was still there. I stared at her beautiful purple and light blue scales. I slid down the cliff and slowly started approaching it. She noticed me and shot her tail up. I quickly pulled my shield up and ducked down,so the only way she could get me was from above or behind. I waited. Waiting for her to strike. But to my surprise, she didn't.
I slowly peaked over my shield. The Nadder was still in battle position, but she wasn't staring at me.
She was staring at my axe, that was sitting next me. I quickly picked it up and threw it a few feet away. I stood up,still behind the protection of my shield, except for my legs.
I looked at the dragon again. This time she was staring at my legs. Then I remembered I had my knife in my boot. How she knew that,I have no idea. I took my knife out of my boot and threw it over to my axe. The dragon came out of death mode, and turned her head.
"Why can't you just leave?" I asked her. She somehow understood me,and turned. I saw a huge scratch on her wing, and realized it must be too painful to fly.
"You must be hungry. Since you can't get out of here." I said. She nodded her head. I smiled. "Okay. I'll come back later with some fish." I said, holding my hand out so she could smell it.
"Or... maybe tomorrow." I sighed, then smiled at the Nadder. "But I promise I'll be back." I ran over, grabbed my shield and knife, and ran back to town.
