Why Me?

My Birthday

     In the birthday theamed bag, there was a little teddy bear with a diamond necklace around it. "Thank you Andrew. It's beautiful." He looked at me with sensitive eyes and said,"Your welcome Sarah."

     That was the first time Andrew and I had a real moment together. He has never been nice to me. I don't understand. He has abused me throughout my entire childhood, and now he buys me this diamond necklace? Maybe he's sorry for what he did and he wants me to forgive him so we can actually start being brother and sister. But would I forgive him?

     My mom interrupted the awkward silence between all of us by saying," Sarah, I want to take you to the mall so you can pick out a birthday present for yourself." I said yes not wanting to disappoint my mom. So much for my lazy day.

     So I went up in my room and changed into some skinny jeans and a T-shirt advertising my favorite band, My Chemical Romance. I did my makeup and went downstairs to the living room and waited for my mom to be ready. As soon as she was ready, we hoped in the car and went to the mall, leaving Andrew at the house.

     After we got back from the mall, I went to my room to put my presents away. I got some clothes, an iPod, new shoes, and some other little things. We were at the mall for a while so out was already dinner time. We all agreed that we should order a pizza, so that's what we did. Andrew didn't talk to me that much. I just kept thanking him for the teddy bear and necklace.

     After dinner, I decided to take a shower and go out with my friends. Well, I don't really have any friends. Except my best friend, Kristen. We have been friends since we were seven. She invited me to go out to a party. She said it was going to be fun so I agreed. She picked me up at around 10 and we were both dressed on tight dresses and heels. I knew tonight was going to be great.
