"That's how your derive the formula-", said the professor. His attention was grasped by something at the back of the class. He grew pale. He was rather short tempered, you could make out the fact easily.
"Class you would be obliged to know that you are fortunate to have been able to stay in presence of a great soul." Said the professor clearly trying to hide his fury. He made his way to the back of the class as the children looked at him with utter confusion. Professor was indeed a man of riddles."Do you know who it is?" He asked rethorically.
He eyed the boy at last bench still failing to grasp his attention. He cleared his throat and said, "Allen, any guesses?", the boy still was engaged in staring the wall beside him with great interest. As if there was something that was stopping him from connecting to the outside world.
Professor steadily made his way to the last bencher with anger clearly visible on his face now.
The boy was suddenly realized that the professor was addressing him and stood up. He saw the professor approaching and was taken aback. A realization rushed through him and in an instant it seemed that he was back in the class. The professor was now beside the boy.He glared the boy. "Yes! Allen please don't make efforts to stand up. Make yourself really comfortable", said the professor sarcastically. Few of the children had now started giggling and passing comments to each other.
"Class the personality I was reffering to earlier was none other than sir Allen, who is very much present in class at the instant I think, Right ?"
The boy stood still his eyes down to the ground. He didn't reply nor did his expression change. There was something very different about him. Something very unusual in his eyes for a twelve year old.
"While each student of the class was trying hard to understand the derivation of Pythagoras theorem, the legend of your class was indulged in deep and a very serious conversation with his pal, the wall".
Upon this the whole class burst laughing. The boy stood unaffected his head stooped to the floor. "I understand the importance of the discussion with the wall besides it is the only thing that can intrest you in entire class", continued professor.
He glanced the boy with antagonism and said "Perhaps you would like to talk about it to the principal after the class. Tell him about what the wall has been telling you the entire week. I hope that's okay with with the wall's will. Now you may get out of the class and do me a favour never ever dare to attend my class again ".
The boy made slow steps to the door of the class, his face still blank. There was something very difficult to understand about the expression.
Later that day the boy's father was called to the school for the sixth time in the month. There was a long discussion about his son and the prestige of St.Thomas and the discipline and sciencirity they expected from students.St.Thomas was the school all the billionaires' kids attended. It was difficult for an ordinary or average boy to adjust.
"This is the last warning Mr. Allen, henceforth we'd be forced to take action against detestable behaviour of your son. He never pays attention in any of his classes and has been scoring strainght E's in the tests. I hope you know what I'm trying to convey", said the principal seriously.
"There's nothing to worry about, I'm sure my son won't give you further chances to complain" .He said glancing at the boy who still was lost and didn't reply. That night the boy was aware of what he was about to face. His drunk father made his way to him with a thick Sal staff.
"You dirty pest.....," in he dark silent night echoed the pain of an innocent creature, loneliest than he ever was.A/N:
