A/N: Here we are, the beginning of a new story. It's one that I've always wanted to do, but I haven't got to until now. I personally believe that this ship, StahlxCordelia, should be canon, but that's just my opinion. I hope you enjoy.

At Ylisse High, you can find a wide variety of students. There are nerds, jocks, preps, and trouble makers. Ylisse High may be a somewhat prestigious school in the heart of Ylisstol, the capital of the land, but the students can be very down-to-earth sometimes. Stahl is representive of his school. When someone looks at him, they would never guess he was the son of a famous artist. He had a perpetually messed-up mop of hair, a grin that was almost infectious, and he spoke with the normalities of an average teenager.

Stahl was an average student, not excelling in any subject, but normally better in physical courses. He also had a trait that was common with most guys in the whole school. He had a massive adoration for the school's star student Cordelia, the beautiful daughter of the school's headmaster. She was the highest-scoring, most popular girl around. She walked with certainty and grace. She was beautiful, but she could be a bit harsh and blunt at moments. She was very confident. Yet, with all her flaws, every guy was infatuated by the red-haired Queen.

Today was starting off as normal as any other. Stahl had just been dropped off by his father's driver at the front door of the building. He prepared himself for the loudness and general insanity that was Ylisse High in the morning. He pushed open the door, and was imediately confronted by someone. Stahl sighed and looked at the cheery girl in front of him.

"Hey, Lissa, I see you're as cheery as usual." Lissa, the little sister of the football team's captain Chrom, was admittedly adorable. Her blonde curls were up in her standard pigtails. Her green eyes oozed happiness, and her smile always seemed to put a grin on everybody's face. Her and her brother were the kids of Ylisstol's biggest bank's CEO.

Lissa laughed and hopped a little where she stood. "Yep, and I'm so happy because guess what, guess what!" Stahl smiled at her. "What? What?," he asked in an imitating voice.

She giggled at the man's antics. "Oh hush up. I get to spend the whole day with Cordelia and her friends today. Like ohmigodsohmigods!" She was squeaking like a fangirl meeting her favorite actor.

Stahl's eyes widened. He suddenly felt envy towards the girl growing in his heart. "Well, lucky you! Have fun! Tell me about later, 'kay?"

Lissa smiled. "Of course I will. What kind of friend would I be if I didn't?" She grinned evily. "I may even mention you to Cordelia because we all know how much you like her."

Stahl's cheeks turned bright red. "No...no no no. Please don't do that. That would embarass me in front of everybody if anyone lets word out." He was terrified of what would happen if Lissa did tell Cordelia how he felt for her, and he didn't want to find out. "Plase don't do that. Can't this just be a happy day for you, and leave me in peace. Now I want to eat before I turn redder than a tomato." Lissa tired to hold back a laugh at Stahl's reaction, but she was doing poorly. "Okay. Okay. Whatever you say, loverboy."

They went to the lunchroom and got breakfast. They found the rest of their little group sitting at a table across the room. At the table was Robin, the group's brain and genius in almost anything not involving physical activity, Chrom, Lissa's charming brother and crush for many a girl in the school, and Sumia, head cheerleader and Chrom's girlfriend. They all said their greetings to the two as they sat down.

Stahl began to eat and turned towards Lissa. "Well..have you told everybody about your great news?" He smiled as she jumped at her name being mentioned. She shook her head. "Everybody, I am going to have a day to remember. Cordelia is letting me hang out with her and her friends! I'm so excited!" Sumia giggled with her, and they continued to gush about it all throughout breakfast.
