The Princess and her dragon

Chapter 2

"Sir, I just saw Lucy get on her horse and go into the city."

"Good, Leo goes get the guards and bring her back."

"Yes, right away sir"

Leo run to get Taurus and told him of what happened, so they both got all the guards and run into the city. Juvia found Grey and told him what has happened.

"She ran away, we have to find her!" he said as he jumped on his white horse.

"Get on!" He said. Juvia was shocked but she still jumped on she wrapped her arms around him she went red, he didn't say anything; she hoped that they will find her; they both went into the city.

Lucy went though the towns she stopped to get some food, she was going to runaway to a far off place, she thought about her friends she never wanted to leave them behind she will come back and see them. she gave her horse a apple, as she was eating her apple she saw Leo in the distance, she turned her head away, she pulled up her coats hood so they couldn't see her but they saw the horse that was with her and knew it was her.

"She's over here!" Leo shouted. Lucy quickly jumped onto her horse and went as quick as she could though the town, Leo and Taurus run behind her trying not let her out of their sight. She went and hid behind a tree they all run past, she let out a sigh. She waited until it was night before she went back out.

Grey and Juvia were looking around the town to find her.

"She must be here somewhere" He said

"She must of left town already!" she said

"We should get out of here, if they see us they think we know where Lucy is." He said.

Lucy was still waiting for it to be night time it will be soon.

"Why did this happen to me I never asked for this, even my mother knew that I don't want this!" she said while looking at her mother's locket.

She looked up and saw that it was night time so she got her horse and went back out into the town. She knew that she'll never be free they will all ways try and take her back. She knew that she will be spotted if she had her house with her so she gave it food and let it stay there. Later Leo found her horse.

"She doing well but she's only made it easier for us to find her." He grinned and told one of the guards to take her horse home.

Lucy was close to the gates to the city, she ran trying to get out but she saw Leo standing at the gates she was about to turn back but all the guards were surrounding her. She was scared she wanted to get out but it was over, she then gave up.

"Well that was easy" Leo said. But then a shadowy person jumped out and kicked the two guards holding Lucy in the side and they went flying in to a brick wall. All the guard were shocked then went to attack him, but they were too slow the person shot a chain of fire at them and knocked them back. Leo tried his best to see who he was, but couldn't. Taurus went to hit the mystery person with his axe, but he jumped out of the way, made a fist of fire and punched him in the face and made him go flying back and crash into the wall, he came running back swinging his axe at him, he started to grin and blew fire right at him Taurus blocked with is axe but he already punched, he flew back and hit the wall, the person then turned to Leo.

"Who are you?" Leo said. As he made a fist of his golden energy and attacked, he dodged every punch he tried, then Leo finally hit him in the face, he then made a fist of fire and punched Leo in the stomach, he then shot back into the wall. Lucy couldn't believe what she just saw one guy could take out so many guards on his own; she couldn't see who he was.

He walked out of the shadows and up to her, he reached his hand out to help her up off the floor, he was a boy with light cherry pink hair and he had Black horns and dark Jade eyes, he also wore a white scarf. She reached up for his hand, he then helped her up.

"You really need to be more careful" He said with a cheeky smile. She smiled back.

"Thank you for saving me! What's your name?" she asked

"I'm Natsu, and you are?" He asked.

"I'm Lucy" She said with a smile.

"Lucy, you don't fear me?" He asked

"No, you saved me! Should I?"

"I'm the dragon everyone's talks about!"

"You're the dragon? But you saved me; my father said that you are evil."

"I'm not evil, just because I'm half Dragon they want to kill me!" Lucy smiled.

"You're not evil, even if you have horns and wings and a tail, your very kind!"

"I'm Kind?" Natsu asked in disbelief. Lucy gave a sweet smile.

"Lucy, you're the first person to show me so much kindness" He said. Lucy knew Leo and the others would wake up soon.

"Natsu, I don't want to be rude but I do need to get going!"

"Oh, because of those guys...Where are you going any way?" He asked.

"I...don't know!" she said sadly.

"Did you run away?" He asked

"Yes, but I'm not going back, my father forced me to marry someone I don't love!"

"I understand, nobody wants a life like that!"

"Thank you for caring" she said. Natsu cheeks went a pink color.

"Bye Lucy, I'm going home now" He said

"Home?"

"Yeah, I live in the woods"

"I want to see you again, Natsu!"

"What, really?"

"Yes" Lucy smiled at him, he grinned and smiled back. He run back into the shadows, Lucy walked out of the gates and got to the wood, Lucy heard a horse coming her way. She was scared but when she looked over it was Grey and Juvia.

"What are you and Grey doing here?" said Lucy.

"We came looking for you!" Replied Juvia.

"And what's with all the guards, did you fight them?" asked Grey.

"No, my powers are weak!" she said back. As she said that Leo and the other guards walked over.

"Lucy come back now, fire boy can't help you this time!" Leo said

"Fire boy?" Juvia and Grey said at the same time.

"She's not going back!" Juvia said. Leo made a fist of golden energy and attacked Juvia, she dodge and shot water at him. He hit the ground.

"Yeah take that! I've always wanted to do that!" Juvia said

"Thanks, I will come back!" Lucy said with a smile. She ran off into the woods.

"Lucy, wait!" Grey shouted. Leo got back up and looked at Juvia.

"The King won't be very happy about this!" He said. He walked back into the city with all the guards. Juvia sighed.

"They will be back for Lucy soon" Grey said.

"She is right; they can't force us to get married!" He sighed.

"I know that in the end everyone will get what they want." she said.

"Um, Grey I need to ask you something" She asked

"What is it?" He asked

"When you and Lucy where on that date, why were you staring at me?" She asked turning red. He looked at her shocked he did not know how to react.

"I...I...Thought you were nice and good company." He said.

So I'm not good company" she said trying not to look into his dark eyes.

"N-no, you're good company I think that you are kind and...Cute" she blinked that what he said she tried to stay calm.

"Um...thank you" She said trying not to bush.
