My Dear Readers,
I would first like to thank you all for reading this story as well as voting, commenting on it, etc. It means I great deal to me even though I don't deserve it.
Secondly, I would like to offer my deepest apologies. I have barely written anything of this story and have not published a chapter in two years.
Lastly, many people have asked for more or if I will continue this story. This question is the reason for this note. My answer is, for the foreseeable future, no. While I have multiple reasons for this, none of them excuse my abandonment of this story. Despite this, you all deserve to know why, so below are my reasons.
1.) My life has been hectic the last few years. I have been in high school during the duration of this story and, as everyone knows, school takes up a lot of time. This year more than most, as this year is my last year in high school and this fall I will be starting college. This time of year is particularly insane since I will be graduating in June, I have and internship as part of a class, and prom is coming up. In addition to my graduating, my father actually passed away in December of 2014, and though we weren't close, it took time to adjust to the absence of his presence.
2) My writing style has changed dramatically over the last few years and looking back at this fic makes me cringe in pain. It is filled with inaccuracies, poor descriptions and dialogue, along with abysmal characterization of characters. Thinking back on it, Delphi was going to end up as a badly written Mary-Sue. That is unacceptable. As I've expressed before, I would like to eventually rewrite this and edit the story line. However, if I do this, I most likely won't post anything for a long while.
3) In all honestly, the main reason I'm stopping this story is because I've lost my motivation for it. My original story line/plan on how to write it has ceased to interest me. If I wish to continue this I need to find my motivation again.
I am so sorry, my dear readers. I truly am. I sincerely hope that you are able and willing to forgive me.
