"Wow..." My jaw dropped in awe as I stared out my window. Small, white specks were floating down towards the earth - some occasionally even came in stars. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs, heading for the front door. I ignored my dad, who was calling after me, and sped outside. All around me were the white specks that glistened in the sun. As I stood in the middle of our front yard I piveted in a circle, my eyes gazing up into the sky. A small sigh escaped me. "We did it mom, our first snow." As I stared up at the falling snow, it was almost like I could feel her standing right next to me, smiling up as well.
