Lauren's POV:

I was walking through the halls of the cave when my boyfriend of one year came running and picked me up. "Bart!" I screamed while trying to suppress my laughter, "Put me down!" I finally laughed. He put me down and began to kiss me all over my face. I began to laugh but turned very serious when his hands went to take off my mask. I pushed his hands down and started to walk towards my room. "Fist! Come on... I just want to know who my girlfriend really is..." Bart whined which made me stop. I began to cry and I fell to my knees. Bart was by my side instantly and picked me up off the ground. He wiped away the tears that were pouring out from my mask. "I'm sorry babe. I really am. I shouldn't have asked..." Bart apologized as he began to tear up. I smiled and wiped away his tears. "Don't cry Bart. You're the one person who I can't stand to let cry." I said. Bart smiled down at me. I knew that if Bart ever found out who I really was, I would never see his heart warming smile ever again. I began to shed more tears and Bart kissed them away. I faked a smile as I looked up at him. The only problem about dating somebody for a year is that they can tell when you give a fake smile. "Ok, why are you fake smiling?" He asked sounding very concerned. At that point I broke. I began to cry a lot harder and felt Bart rush me to his room so no one would see. He knows that I am super shy. Then I sobbed out "I am fake smiling because I don't want to loose you yet! If you find out who I really am...I will never see your smile again! You would never love me again if you found out who I really am. Who my family really is. I would never see you again because you would hate me! I can't loose you Bart! I-I love you too much Bart! I can't loose you to my father!" At that point I was crying more than I ever have been before. When I looked at Bart he was crying too. He told me that I would never loose him. "I will NEVER stop loving you. Even if your family is absolutely nuts. I will always be here for you. You are the most crash person I know! You crash all the modes. Don't say that Fist. You will never loose me. Ever." His hands went up and down my sides then I looked up at him to see that he looked angry. But not at me. I followed his eyes to see that my shirt had ridden up when He was caressing my sides which gave him a great view of the gash on my side and the bruises covering my torso. I quickly tried to pull the shirt back down but Bart, being the quick speedster he is, grabbed my wrist. I looked up and saw that he now looked like he wanted to kill somebody. "Who, did this to you?" Bart growled the question through his teeth. I looked down and then I heard Bart growl "I'm gonna KILL whoever did this to you!" Then I jumped up and hugged him as I began to cry "No! Please, don't!" Bart's eyes softened as he realized that the person who hurt me had a connection with me. "W-was it your Dad?" Bart asked kind of nervous that I would get mad at him. I looked down and nodded. He lifted my chin up and placed a loving kiss on my lips. I wanted to pull away. Wanted to talk this out but I was too pulled in by my boyfriend's unbearable scent. I kissed back until I realized what I was doing. I pulled away only to find that Bart had taken off my mask. I tried to hide my face, but it was too late. Bart had seen me. "YOU'RE THE DAUGHTER OF LEX LUTHOR?!?" Bart screamed. I am on tv with my dad a lot because he forces me to so Bart had seen me on the news at some point. I grabbed my mask from his hand and ran out of my room. Lucky for me, my boyfriend is the fastest boy in the world and he caught up to me fairly quickly. He grabbed me off the ground and I hissed in pain from running with the gash. Bart ran me to the med bay and put me in one of the beds. He grabbed a gauze and wrapped it around my waist. When he was done he hugged me and cried into my shoulder. I asked him why he was crying and he replied with "Why didn't you tell me?!? I still love you exactly the same! Maybe more after discovering what you have been going through!" I began to cry remembering how Lex would beat me when I didn't give him info on the Justice League. I wiped away Bart's tears and told him I was heading home. Back to my FATHER... Bart immediately grabbed my wrist. "NO! You are not going home to that monster! He hurt you! You can stay here with me Fist!" Bart cried. "Lauren. Lauren Luthor." I replied looking at Bart, smiling. Bart suddenly began to grin. "What a beautiful name!" He exclaimed. I blushed. Bart took me to his room and put me down on his bed. "You go to sleep right now while I go to Lex's mansion to grab your clothes and stuff like that." Bart said. I immediately jumped up. "You can't do that! If he catches you and finds out your my boyfriend, he'll kill you!" I yelled. Bart shrugged. "Better me than you." He said. I cried and ran up to him. "NO! You are staying here and sleeping with me!" (Not like that you dirty minded freaks) I screamed. I told him that I would sneak in while he was at work tomorrow and grab all my stuff. Bart agreed and hopped into bed with me. He held me very close. I sighed contently. For once, everything was right with the world.
