Stopping The Chain

Scarlett's P.O.V.
I just got to school, and I still had around 15 minutes till school starts. I was just wandering outside just letting my thoughts cloud my mind, until I heard something.

"H-hey give me my lunch back!" Said a boys voice.
"No thanks, I don't think so. It's now mine" I heard another boys voice taunt.
"Hey!" The other boys voice yelled. I ran over there to stop this. I could easily tell that bullying was going on.
"Hey! Stop that!" I yelled.
"Well, well, well what have we got here. Hey it looks like Chris has got himself a girlfriend to save him." The bully teased.
"I said stop it! Give him back his lunch!" I yelled.
"Or else." I say with an intimidating voice.
"Or else what? Your gonna run home to mommy and tell her. Hmm?" He said in a cocky voice.
"No, I will tell the principal that your bullying someone. You know you can be suspended for a week, and we would have to call your parents." I said sounding a tiny bit like a smart Alec.
"Whatever." He says and then throws the lunch back at poor Chris.

"Hey, are you okay?" I ask a little worried.
"Y-yeah I'm fine." He reply's.
"Okay, good." I say while smiling. He just looked at me for a second and then looked away blushing. I was confused, but I didn't really pay any attention to it.

Chris's P.O.V.
First thing that happens to me was that my bully, Rick took my lunch from me. I tried my best to get it back, but I failed miserably.

Rick was in the middle of trying to take my money when this girl ran up to us and stood in front of me, trying to defend me. Of course Rick decided to tease me, but then she said all knowingly about the consequences of bullying. Once she told Rick that he finally gave up.

She asked me if I was okay, and then she smiled at me. I turned away and started blushing. I was blushing out of embarrassment, and because that smile made her look really cute. Wait, what was I thinking of?! I just met her and I don't even know her name!

She seemed to notice my flustered state and asked again to make sure I was okay. She was getting up and was getting ready to leave until I stopped her.

"H-hey I-I was J-just wondering wh-what your name is-is." I said obviously nervous.
"The names Scarlett, yours is Chris, right?" She replied.
"Yeah." I replied simply.
"Well if you want you can hang out with me." She says kindly, doing that adorable smile again. Ahh wait stop thinking that!!
"S-sure, that wh-would be f-fun." I replied stuttering.

Amber's P.O.V.
I just smile at him. He's just, so adorable when he's flustered. Wait. Ugh stop it mind, you just met him! I'm usually shy and flustered around people, but my social anxiety has gotten much better.

School was just about to start, so Chris and I started getting our things ready for class.

~Time Skip To Lunch~

Chris and I were talking and laughing while walking to go outside for lunch. My best friend Marina ditched me because she didn't want to go outside, so it was just Chris and I.

I usually don't bring a lunch or it's just like a sandwich and maybe a bag of Cheetos. Sadly today I had no lunch, and Chris noticed that.
"Hey Scarlett where's your lunch?" He asked.
"Oh hehe, I didn't bring one." I said.
"Well if you want we can split my sandwich, so we can both have a half." He said.
"Oh no I couldn't. It's your food. Plus I'm not really that hungry anyways" I said, but right when I said that my stomach decided to go against me and make a rumbling sound.
"I think your stomach says otherwise." He said. We both start laughing, and he hands me half of the sandwich.
"Yes meat, cheese and mayo!!" I say excitedly.
"Yeah this is my favorite sandwich." He says
"Same!" I reply. We continued talking and laughing with each other for the rest of lunch.

~Time Skip To The End Of The Day~

Chris's P.O.V.
Sadly today ended, but I had a lot of fun with Scarlett. I was glad that I met her. When I got home I entered the house beaming, and explained everything to my mom. I couldn't wait to see her tomorrow.

Scarlett's P.O.V.
I hopped into the bus and I was smiling the entire ride to my stop. I was, so happy. Once I got home I decided to talk to my friends about it.

Scarlett: Hey guys great news! I made a new friend!

Eden: That's really cool!

Layana: Is it a boy or girl?

Scarlett: ......... Boy.....

Krea: Could this possibly be a new ship?

Scarlett: No! We just met. His name is Chris. (I explain everything to them)

Krea: I think this ship will sail.

Eden: Cool!

Layana: I guess he's alright..... For now.

Scarlett: Okay...

I continued talking with them. Maxson joined in on our conversation for a little, but then he had to leave. Once it was time to go to bed, I was just a smiling mess.

Hey dearies thanks for reading this chapter. I tried making this one a little longer. Also we have new characters Yay!! I know there is some slight romance, but I decided to have a tiny bit of romance, of course not to much.
