OK I tried to make this a little less cringy

Mirajane was unfortunately staring at the blonde dragon slayer leaning on the railing of the second floor in his cheetah patterned dress shirt and red pants, looking obviously bored. He looking around to just watch everyone from above. Or more like judging everyone.

She smirked a little to herself that's Laxus.

And yet...

Mira couldn't deny that she had feelings for him since she laid eyes on him all those years ago. His cool demeanor and strength intrigued her, even when she was a little hellion in her childhood. The feeling lessened drastically for awhile when he started acting cruel and then eventually starting the battle of FairyTail. The cruelty and harm he caused with that entire incident was heart shattering.
Although-
" Mira...?"
after he unexpectedly returned from exile to help fight Grimore Heart and all the good things he's done for the guild since he was welcomed back-
"Mira?"
well....... it wasn't immediate, but her heart was opening up to those feelings again. Not like it means any-

"Mira!" " Huh?!" She was interrupted by her sister, Lisanna. " Wha!?" She stuttered. " Thinking about him again, huh?" " Yeah.....I am" her sister smiled, " Don't worry Mira, you'll find love soon, I can feel it! I mean you're still a top model and wonderful person. It be just wrong for you- one of the best people I know- to not end up with someone?" " Thanks Lis" she sighed.

Next day, Laxus sat at a table by himself while the Thunder Legion was scattered about the guild doing they're own thing. While sipping his mug of strong booze, he stared at the bar were there was usually a white haired woman working behind it. He found it completely ridiculous that even with everything that he puts off with his aura whenever he encounters anyone, he couldn't ask the freakin girl of his dreams out. They were both adults after all.
Both mature enough to handle whatever outcome happens........most of the time.

It's been like that off and on for a few years. He never had trouble with women in the past but she eluded him. Maybe because he felt like she was too good for him (which she was of course) outside and inside. She didn't need somebody who had a checkered past like him.

Although thinking that way wasn't going stop him from wanting her. He guesses that he'll just have to sit there and stew about it.

In any case, most were probably wondering why someone as gorgeous as her hasn't had a boyfriend by now. Well to answer that, she would usually just turn down men who asked her for she knew they were attracted to her outside appearance or the fact, unbeknownst to her, when he was around that he would glare at them with such terrifying malice that it could make the devil's skin crawl. The moment they saw him they'd run for the hills, which had her confused (or to the fact that completely unbeknownst to him, she was waiting for him).

Continuing to mind his own business, with his dragon hearing he heard some..........interesting gossip. "Hey did ya hear?" One member said to the another "Huh? No what?" "Mira got asked on a date!" "Yes and?" "But she actually said yes this time!" " Wait really!?"

WHAT- no calm down she's not yours Laxus thought, he clenched his glass, cracking under the pressure.

It's probably just a rumor people like to talk that's all, and she probably turned the guy down like any other. He didn't see her today. He decided to go out for awhile to clear his head, hopefully when he came back the rumor would stay a rumor. Huh. Wishful thinking.
