Bound in chains of pain
Hurting deep inside
But you never look
You have ever seen me
Why do you not look at me
Why do you not see me
I am so lost in so much pain
I am lonely and afraid
Hurting and scarred
Empty and lost
I live in despair
And in constant pain
And yet you still
Look away from me
I cut myself in order
To finally release
These emotion that
Consume me every day
I cut myself to leave
Scars on the outside
To match the scars I hide
The pain I feel inside
Yet you do not look
You do not see me
When I need you the most
You turn away from me
So I show on my skin
What I cannot tell you
What I feel on the inside
