Tell me about yourself. My name Tamia. I'm from New Jersey. I don't take no shit. It's a couple girls here I don't get along with but they ain't try me just yet so I'm fine until then.
Who's here that you don't like? Well I don't like Nia for starters. I moved to Brooklyn and I'm visiting the club cause I just moved and ya know I wanna see what the clubs is like being that I use to work at a club in Jersey. I went down there and Nia was throwing money and so was J cause I like to show strippers love.. Being that I use to bartend I see strippers all the time. I attract some attention from a couple guys, which is always... cause I look good. I'm confident and I'm young and I got money! Apparently she didn't like me cause of the attention I was getting. *Sighs* Hoes be so hopeless. That was only word of mouth though but I could feel the tension. As for them other girls. They been to the club in Jersey and I run Jersey so that's why they don't like me. (Laughs)
You seem to be stirring up the pot. Anyone you get along with? (Laughs) Just one. I got one best friend. Her name Frankie. She my bestfriend. She a little crazy but so am I. We compliment each other. She pops off on everybody.
So tell me about you. What are your dreams? I want to own a club. Like my own club. I got the name for it and everything. It's so beautiful in there. People having fun, girls getting money and drinks are flowing. I mean what is not to like about the club. It's a little hot sometimes. (Laughs)
Are you in a relationship? Yes! You ain't see this big ass ring! I been showing it off to everybody! You know how long I've been waiting on this?
(Laughs) For how long? A decade! Ten long ass years!
Decade? How old are you? I'm only 26 but we were highschool sweethearts. I met him when I was 16. (Smiles) We been through too much for me to not get my ring. Waaaayyy too much. I deserved this.
Your family gets along with his? My people don't.. They hated that I started to date so young. My family is huge Christians. No sex before marriage type shit. My dad is a preacher. He thinks I was going against God. He hates my fiance. He hates my job (laughs) dad hates everything. He ain't finna stop me from growing up and learning from my mistakes. He taught me to learn from my mistakes.
What happened to your mother? Nothing. She's been sick for a while. She's happy with everything I do. She appreciates me for who I am. She knows I love Eddie. She told me not to beat myself up worrying about how my dad feels because her and my father got together when they were teenagers and been in love ever since. My mother has breast cancer so I spend all the time I can get with her. We're actually going to lunch after this. (Smiles)
How does your boyfriend feel about you working in the clubs? Oh he fucking hates it! He told me once we get married I gotta quit that shit. He don't complain about the money I bring I though. He just hates the attention I get. I understand that though due to the guys wanting to touch all on me.
You want kids? Yes. I can't wait to have them. I'm waiting until marriage to have kids. So I party while I can until I'm in full mommy mode.
Do you plan to move back to Jersey? Yeah.. I do. I wanna raise my baby in my home town. Me and Eddie are from Jersey so it's only right.
What does Eddie do? Eddie is a football coach. He teaches some adorable kids. I try to be there when I can to see him do his thing.
I know the kids give him props for snagging you. Hell yeah they be like oh my god Mr. Lee she so pretty! A couple of them found my instagram (laughs) He almost got fired because of what I post. We cleared it up and it's cool now.
You seem very well rounded. I try to be. I have a lot of support. So I try to be on my best behavior. I'm a partygirl still. Ya know I be doing me!
