Myrtle Warren had already gone to Diagon Alley to collect her school equipment for the year. There were defiantly more advanced spell books than last year and there was many different equipment.

Myrtle and her parents walked down Kings Cross Station to platform 9 and 3/4. Myrtle's mother, Elizabeth Warren said " Have good time at Molehogs dear"

"It's Hogwarts, Mum." Myrtle said.

"Yes" her father said "And be sure to call me."

"Send an owl." Myrtle corrected him.
"Bye!" Elizabeth and Daniel (Muggles) watch their daughter pass through the wall and onto the platform to the Hogwarts Express.

Myrtle strolled onto the Hogwarts Express, sticking her glasses on the end of her nose to emphasise them. How could Olive Hornby not love them? She was sure to be a cool kid! Finally.

More than anything in the world, Myrtle wanted to fit in. But after she made her appearance on the Hogwarts Express, she wanted to go home straight away.
She got onto the train and looked around for a seat, but no one would let her into their compartments. A little downhearted but still determined to make a good impression, she sat in the only place she could find. As she observed the people she was with, Myrtle was horrified to discover she was surrounded by Olive Hornby's gang. Her eyes travelled to Olive's evil smile and she began to shake. Suddenly, she remembered her glasses. She pushed the up to eyes and stuck her nose in the air.
"Well, well, well, look who's trying to fit in" Olive said, with a look of utter joy on her face.

All throughout the train trip, Myrtle sat with her face buried in her hands, trying to withstand the taunts of the group, and cried until she had no tears left.
