Chapter three

"What do you mean I have to work with him?!" Natsumi yelled pointing at Luc. "If you don't like it I can contact your parents and they'll say who they'd like your partner to be." The teacher said back.

Natsumi's face fell at the mention of parents and she sat back down. "Yes ma'am." She said looking down. The teacher looked back up at the class. "Alright class here are your partners you may sit next to them when I tell you who they are."

Luc shuffled over and sat next to Natsumi. The two sat awkwardly in silence as the teacher assigned partners. Loke and Aries (the pink haired boy), Levi was in a group of three with two girls, Jet and Droya, Gray and Erzo, Juvian looked like he was about to explode with anger ,he was partnered up with Gajeel, who looked incredibly bored.

Luc looked over at Natsumi who was folding a piece of paper into an origami cat. Luc sighed. "Look I hate this as much as you do, but we gotta do this." Luc said looking over at Natsumi.

"Tch." Natsumi said looking away from Luc. Luc gritted his teeth. God he hated her guts. "Hey new kid." Luc turned around to see a girl with long black hair that fell over her left eye.

"Just warning you now but Dragneel-san is actually really smart so, as much as you try to diss her she can snap right back at you."

Luc rolled his eyes. "Yeah sure." The girl nodded and went back to work. Luc turned to see Natsumi doodling the school's symbol on her wrist.

Luc sighed. Well I guess I gotta deal with her until this project is over. Luc thought. "So where should we start?" He said pulling out his pencil.
