Chapter 23

Emma

I slowly opened the door. I checked a hundred times if I didn't look to stressed. I know Killian immediately sees when something is wrong. And there is now. Regina told me to watch the persons I loved. I now she is strong and I need to protect them. But Regina looked very afraid. Afraid to lose the person she care for. Afraid that she can't protect them. And maybe she can, but I can't. I have no idea what to do when they are in danger.Maybe I can't protect them because of what my parents said about my powers. I walk in and then I see my parents and Henry on the couch. My parents.. I wasn't really mad anymore and I also didn't ignore them. When they came to see Angel when she was just born we talked and things were cleared up. I was okay with them. But I felt really ashamed. I was probably acting stupid again. But they know secrets aren't my thing. They greet me and I greet back. I look around for Killian but I can't see him here. I do see Angel in the arms of Henry. 'Hey kids how are you?' He turns around with a big smile on his face. 'Hey mom i'm good. Angel is so sweet I love to hold her and U think she likes bing with me already'. He smiles when Angel starts to make sweet sounds and grabs his finger. 'Why are you all here?' I sit down next to Henry and Angel starts smiling when she sees me. 'We wanted to see Angel', my mom begins. 'When we came her Killian said you were at Regina's talking about something so he let us in and gave us Angel'. 'Where is Killian?' I look around another time. 'He...' I feel some arms from behind grabbing me. I jump and turn around. Then I see Killian. ' Idiot you scared me.' He starts laughing and kisses me. 'Sorry love I just wanted to.' 'Where were you?' He sits next to me. 'I wast just getting this book for Henry.' He grabs the storybook and gives it to him. 'He forgot it here and he wanted to read something to Angel. When he opened it we saw a story we didn't notice before. It was the story of me and Killian. 

Killian

When I gave him the book he opened it on a page I didn't see before. It was a story about me and Emma. He smirks when he sees us staring at it and then look at each other. Then he turns to Angel. 'Look Angel this is a story about how our parents met'. My heart skipped a beat. Our parents, Henry meant me as his parent. He saw me as father. Emma noticed too and looked at me. She probably saw it in my eyes and she grabs my arm and hugs me. 

Once upon a time there was a girl named Emma, she is the daughter of Snow white and prince Charming. When she first came in to the enchanted forest after she broke the curse of the stepmother of Snow white the Evil Queen, she was scared cause she didn't know about this land. When she came to the village with her mother, Mulan and princess Aurora she found them all dead. Accept one guy. They helped him escape from all the dead body's.Something was strange about the guy. He told them that he was a black smith and lost his hand a long time ago. But Emma who used her powers saw through it busted him and bounded him on a tree. There he admitted he wasn't the black smith they thought he was but he is the one and only Captain Hook. Hard to believe he told them he would help them get back to Storybrook. They freed them and together with Emma he climbed on a beanstalk to get a compass from a giant called Anton. On the trip Hook taught Emma a lot. He told her to trust him. But one thing stopped her from trusting the guy with who she had a strange feeling. She never thought to have this kind of feeling again. The feeling of liking someone. She didn't want to feel it cause she was afraid of being abandoned again that she locked up Hook and left him there. Hook was broken after it and when he got down Cora the mother of the Evil queen told him that he couldn't go with her. He felt sad and mad. All his plans ruined because he started trusting someone, liking someone. He wasn't sure after Milah his first love who was killed by the Crocodile but he knew something was up with her. Something good. But he couldn't trust her anymore, not anyone. So he decided to help Cora and find his way to Storybrook. Where he could find the crocodile and maybe see Emma again...

Angel has fallen asleep so Henry stopped the story. I glare at Emma. She has watered eyes. I hug her and a tear falls down her cheek.

Emma

'I didn't know, I didn't know how you felt about me then. About how I left you. I just thought you were a selfish pirate and that blinded me of seeing who you really are.' 'Its okay Emma, I know how you felt. Its hard to trust someone like me, but I'm glad you did now.' I smile. I got that strange feeling again. About what Regina told me. Protect the people we love. I had to put my fear aside and protect them. I have a story. And that story may not be damaged. I have hurt Killian to much in the past and now I will never again. 

My parents and Henry left. Angel was in her bed and me and Killian were laying on the couch. 'Strange right, how did we even get here after our meeting. How could we ever get this far.' I ask him. 'Well I guess we always felt something for each other, just afraid to admit it. But Neverland brought is closer then you could ever think it did and I only got more sure about my feelings for you. And luckily we accepted it and now I am so happy having you'. ' I am happy too, I will protect you, always. If you protect me.' He smiles. ' Ever doubt I would'. I kiss his temple. ' Never'
