"Hija, I've been calling you from work. Sabi ni Sally may meeting ka raw with your staff kaya hinintay na lang kitang umuwi." Nakangiting bungad sa akin ni Mommy pagdating ko sa bahay. Kung nagtataka kayo bakit may mommy ako gayong patay na iyong ina ko, na-meet ko na rin kasi sa wakas si Miriam Buenavista. Siya pala ang tunay na asawa ng aking namayapang ama na si Fernan Buenavista. Simula ng mamatay si mama, mas naging klaro iyong totoo kong pagkatao. Alam ni mommy na naging kabit ni daddy si mama, siguro dahil sa murang edad ni mama natukso siya at nabuo ako. Pinilit magpakalayo ni mama kahit natanggap na ni mommy ang nangyari dahil sabi niya pa "Walang kasalanan ang bata, pagkapanganak mo Angela iwan mo na lang siya sa amin ni Fernan". Ni minsan ay hindi nagkaanak sila mommy at daddy. Kaya simula ng mamatay si daddy ay pinahanap talaga ako ni mommy dahil sa kayamanang naiwan sa akin ng ama ko.

"Yes mom, we are too busy knowing na maraming French clients ang interesado sa launching ng aming new products" I kissed her cheeks. Anyway, 5 years had passed pero ni minsan ay hindi kami umuwi ni mommy sa pinas. Sabi niya she'll give me the life that I should've deserved from the very start.
Paris, France. Dito ko hinilom lahat ng hinanakit ko at tinulungan ako ni mommy.
"That's good to know anak. Anyway, tumawag ang kapatid ko kanina nangungulit na naman si Minerva na umuwi na raw tayo ng Pilipinas. She's so eager to see you, kasi naman kahit picture mo di ko binibigay. I want them to be surprised." I can sense her excitement at natutuwa ako para kay mommy. She's already 55 years old, maybe she also needs to take a break from our business here total may mga executives din naman siya.
"Why not mom? Sure thing we'll there. Tell ate Minerva, well be there by next month after our launching." Now, it's time to face my demons.

Lumipas ang mga araw, naging busy ako sa pag-aasikaso ng aming new product launching. I'm into beauty products by now, total stable naman ang mga restau ko, I planned to this also gusto ko lang I.try. Welcome to Luxury Beauty and Wellness- ang totoo yan lang pumasok sa isipan ko eh, actually most of our costumers are famous supermodel, actresses, singer and even wives from the socialite.
Si mommy, ayun busy sa pag-aasikaso ng lahat ng kakailanganin namin para sa aming two months vacation sa Pinas. Well, sinusunod ko lang ang gusto niya. I really want to make her happy. That's why, bilang utang na loob sa lahat ng kabutihan niya sa akin.

"Excuse me ma'am, we are about to start in 15 mins. Kailangan na po kayo para sa welcome speech niyo." Yes, most of my staffs are pinoy para hindi ako masyadong mahirapan sa pagmando, kasi kahit matagal na ako rito sa Paris minsan hirap ako sa lennggwahe nila.
"Okay, I'll be there in a minute." Medyo kinakabahan ko, although I admit it isn't the first time pero ewan ko, iba yung kabog ng puso ko ngayon.
Lumabas ako sa backstage at tumayo sa gilid ng stage. Ang alam ko darating si mommy, I hope she'll come on time. And speaking there she is, Sally , my secretary assisted her to her chair then as she looked at me, she even cheered and smiled warmly at her and I also did the same. I so love my mom.

"Ladies and gentlemen the owner of Luxury Beauty and Wellness- Miss Shanielle Buenavista!" I heard applauses and cheers from the crowd as I climbed up and started my speech.
"Good evening everyone, I hope you're having fun right now and please be comfortable. Anyway, we are gathered here tonight for the launching of our company's new product- the Luxuriously Glam Moisturizing and Whitening Lotion. Before we've released the product everybody in the company used the said lotion for a month to test it's effectiveness. We've also took pictures from before-during-after with our selected staffs." Habang nagsasalita ako ay may nag-aappear na pictures at the right side of the stage kung saan may projector.
"Moreover, our product wouldn't be this successful if not for our finest chemist and doctors from our lab, please give a round of a applause to Dr. Wesley Tiu and team." Nagpaunlak ang lahat sabay tayo ng mga kagalang-galang na chemist at doctor.
"And of course, to all the company's workers from the highest to lowest position , congratulations to us and to my only inspiration my mother, Mrs. Miriam Buenavista and to our Almighty Father." My mom smiled at me.
"Anyway, let us all enjoy tonight and please do distribute our sample bottles to the visitors tonight. Again, thank you for coming everyone." Then bumaba na ako at niyakap ko si Sally, then shook hands with the great businessmen all over the world.
"Look at you, so beautiful and successful. So, kailan mo ako bibigyan ng apo?" She jokingly said, but I know she meant it.
"Mom, mga pasaring mo talaga." I just hugged her. Then, I'm thinking what will happen as we made our way to our homeland.
Alam kong magkikita at magkikita pa rin kami. Maliit ang Pilipinas eh.
