Miranda's pov
I get to lunch at school when I see my little sister dreamily staring at the quarterback. I smile and walk over. "Got the hots?" I ask. She jumps and glares at me. "His name is Michael. He's so fun loving and free spirited. I want to talk to him but he's got a girlfriend." I sigh. "There's always working your charm. Maybe he sees how cute and amazing you are, he'll dump her for you." She rolls her eyes. "Fat chance." I sigh. "Hey." I turn around, caught off guard. "Oh uh hey Justin." He smiles. "Um Allie I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me this weekend?" My eyes go wide. "Yes!" I gasp instantly. He laughs. "See you Friday." He says, kissing me.

Sierra comes home looking upset. "What's wrong?" I ask. She sighs. "There's this boy...... But he has a girlfriend..... I'm no good for him anyway." My eyes go wide. "Oh Sierra, of course you are! Any guy would be lucky to have you! I know I am!" She looks up with tears in her eyes. "No one would wanna date a fat nerdy girl with glasses!" She shouts. What the hell?! "You're not fat!!" I cry shocked. "Why would you say that?!" "Because I am!" I shake my head. "No you're not!" Miranda walks in. "I tried to talk to her but she won't listen to me."

Dad tries to convince Sierra that she's not fat or ugly. I'm nervous not sure how to ask dad about this. After they finish talking Brittany takes Sierra shopping for new clothes. "Dad, I-" "Hold that thought hun. I've got some big news. I'm not sure yet how to tell Sierra." "What's up?" I ask. He smiles. "I've asked Britt to marry me." My jaw drops. "Whoa! Really?!" I cry shocked and overjoyed. He smiles and nods. I hug him. "Yay! This is so exciting!" He chuckles softly. "Yeah. I was hoping you could tell Sierra for me." I nod and smile. "Oh um what did you wanna tell me?" He asks, making my smile fade. "Um.... Well.... Justin, a boy I like, asked me out this Friday. Can I go?" "Oh man both my girls are interested in boys." He says, sighing. I smile. "Can I go, please daddy!? Oh pretty please!" I cry, beggingly. He smiles. "Oh alright." "Yay!"
*later*
Sierra tells me she's gonna try to get Michael to date her. "Hey Sierra I have really great news!" I say excitedly. "Daddy is gonna marry Brittany!" Her eyes go wide. Tears soak her cheeks and she runs out the door.

Brittany is crying happy tears when I proposed. She hugs me and I kiss her. Then Sierra runs out the door crying. Uh oh. Miranda musta told her for me. I sigh and kiss Britt again. "Um I'm gonna go handle her." She sighs and nods. "Will Sierra ever get used to me?" I force a smile. "Of course baby girl. I love you." I walk out, finding Sierra in the treehouse. "He's not replacing me." I freeze hearing Jess's voice. "Yes he is!" "No he's not. There's nothing wrong with him getting remarried." "But..... She's not my mom. You are." Jess sighs. I peek in and see them hug. "I'll always be your mama. But don't you want your daddy to be happy?" She sighs. "Yeah." "This is a good thing. I promise." I smile and climb up the steps. "Daddy!" She gasps, caught off guard. "Hey sweety." I nod to Jess who smiles. "Miss you babe." "I miss you too, Jason." Tears come to my eyes. "Sierra I won't marry Britt if you don't want me to." Her eyes go wide and she looks at Jess.

I can't do that to him. I sigh and hug mama then crawl into daddy's lap. "You can marry her. I love you daddy." He rubs my back. "I love you too honey. And I'll always love your mama. Nothin' will ever change that. No matter how much time passes." I look at his cross tattoo with mama's name, my name, and my sister's name on it. "I'm sorry daddy." He kisses my head. "No need to be sorry baby girl. Everything is gonna be fine."
