Martin was fighting with all his might, feeling his skin being torn off after every desperate action he tried. He began to back off from the ink black creature who tried to feast on him, but as lucky as Martin as lucky as he was just had to trip over his own leg. Falling to the ground his head smash against a big rock resulting in Martin losing his consciousness. The shadow leans over the unconscious Martin, staring at him like a starved beast. Opening its mouth he allows the secretions to flow out between the teeth and forming icicles on the slimy fur.

Miranda utilized all the strength she had in her as she swings, letting the big piece of wood splinter against the head of the monster, making it lose its footing for a split second.

Miranda stood there with hands still sore from the impact, wondering over what she just had done, only to come back to reality by seeing a shadow hanging before her. A sound slowly formed to become a low rumbling roar, which made the earth shake under her feet. In fright of the monster Miranda spins around on her heals and leaps towards the car. “Help, help me, somebody,” Miranda cried of full throat into the icy air, hearing it echo back and forth with no reply.

The beast was getting closer and closer, Miranda could almost feel its breath on her neck. Please make it, Miranda pleads to herself as she reach for the car handle. A small click sound made its way to Miranda’s ears making her hand pull open the car-door and leaping inside. As soon as she felt the texture of the seat an impact against the car made her fall forwards, head first into the door on the other side. Rubbing the bump on her head, she glanced back at the path she only some seconds ago had run on. Miranda got a scare as she looked into the red eyes of the beast, staring at her with bloodlust.

The beast had run head first, into the car side and got its horns stuck in the frame. It struggled to get free, but it only got tangled in further.

Miranda was quick. She didn’t lose even a single second of this opportunity presented to her, after tilting out of the car she crawled to hide underneath it. As she reached under the car, her fingertip collided with a small object, it was the lighter. A lightning hit her and she grabbed the lighter, stood up and went over to the fuel tank. She grabs her shirt and rips off a piece that would become the fuse. Miranda puts one end into the fuel tank and in the other end she lights up a flame. She looks at the flame slowly eating away on the clothing, after making sure that it won’t go out she runs of in the opposite direction to make sure she isn’t caught in the explosion. She stops and turns around just in time to see the car explode and become surrounded in fire.
