Sorrowful dreams

Chase's POV
Abby woke up with tears streaming down her cheeks and she looked super scared. I knew I should have actually scanned her dreams. And no it is not creepy watching her sleep.
"Abby! What's wrong?"
She looked at me and there was fear in her eyes. The only time I saw her that scared was when Douglas kidnapped her two weeks ago.

"S-stay back! Don't hurt m-me!"

I knew she had a nightmare but what was it about? I needed to know.
"Abby, what are you talking about? I would never hurt you."
"You-you hurt me a-and tried to t-take my c-chip. Then you left me a-alone."

"Abby! Calm down. That was a dream. What happened?" I asked

She looked like she had seen someone she cared for just die right in front of her."Okay, I was in a cage and you, Adam, Bree and Leo were there and you wanted my information. I told you to stay away and you...t-took my chip and you said,'Don't giver her any pain killers ! I want this to be fun..' you took my chip and then left me there motionless in the cage..."

When she was done she was crying and I gave her a hug. She just saw something horrible and it was her family. I know it was just a dream but the way she described was so realistic. It was scary.

I suddenly felt another pair of arms around us. "What are you guys talking about?" I jumped and I saw it was Adam. "Adam! Not now Abby just had a nightmare and-" I couldn't finish because his hug just became a lot more forceful. "Adam...can't...breathe.."

Adam let go immediately and looked at Abby. I have never seen Adam like this. He would have made a joke right now or say something random but now, he looked serious."Abby, can we talk? Alone" Said Adam
I knew he wanted me to leave so I nodded at him and left the Lab.

Maybe...

Adam'sPOV

After Chase left a looked at Abby. I hated to see her scared, especially when she had a nightmare about me..how I hurt her."Abby....how can I say this? I'm sorry...for getting you to run away..I don't know why but I feel like it was my fault."

Abby stared at me. Maybe this was a bad idea and now she thinks I'm weird. Why did I have to do this? Next I'm going to mention that I like her!

"Adam, it's okay. It's not your fault, you were trying to protect me. And granted it didn't work out as planned, you got me back." Said Abby

She doesn't think I'm weird? She forgives me? After that Abby went back to her capsule and closed her eyes. I could hear Chase next to the doors so I knew he was eavesdropping.
"Chase, she is in her capsule if your wondering. And by the way, I am not that much of an idiot."

Chase walked out looking shocked. Wow I wish I could take a picture of that.

Abby's POV
Dream
I was in a forest with trees towering over my head. The grass was as soft as silk which was weird because grass is itchy and rough. I saw a girl skipping to a bridge and I noticed it was Bree.
"On my way to my Grandfather's house!"

Grandfather? Since when did she have a grandfather? She went across the old bridge with care. The rope suddenly snapped and all I could hear was the sound of Bree screaming for what it seemed like hours.

The dream shifted and now it showed Chase, he was in his house doing his homework. Typical Chase, he got up to get a snack. He walked to the basement because apparently that is were the fridge is. When he got to the bottom of the stairs someone kicked him and he crashed on a crate. Someone grabbed him and put A weird cloth on his mouth that made him go to sleep.

The dream shifted again but this time it showed Adam. He was in a cage and he couldn't breathe. I rushed over to get him out but he wouldn't even look up. "Adam!! Adam please!"

He looked up, "A-Abby..why are you here?"

"Who did this to you?"

Before he could answer he fell to the ground because he ran out of air. I kept on calling and calling his name but he never woke up.

After that I was left alone in the darkness and a replay of what happened to my friends ran over and over in my head but mostly Adam.
