Live or Die

Chase POV

Abby just saved Leo's life, but she got extremely hurt and I feel as if it's my fault. If we haven't left her alone on her first mission none of this would have happened.

Mr. Davenport walked in and just had to get answers, " How is she? Is she okay? Will she live?!"

"Chase, calm down. She is pretty hurt so...no..she's not okay.."

I felt so useless at that moment, I couldn't let a team member die. Especially a new one!

"So..will she live?" Said Bree

"I don't know, but we need to keep an eye on her. So we will take turns watching her, so she can have help nearby if she needs it." Said Mr Davenport, " Chase, your first."

I kind of wanted to but at the same time I felt super guilty but she needed some support! Even if she could have permanent consequences, I need to help.

Abby's POV

Darkness. That's all I saw, and it's all I will see for a while. I knew it was my fault all of this happened.

Before I discovered that I wad Bionic, Douglas was my dad at the time, he was so nice to me and he always helped. If I cried, he would comfort me. If I got lost he would find me.

But one day, all if that changed..

Flashback

I woke up to the smell of bacon and pancakes coming from the kitchen. I walked down to see my dad in the kitchen making breakfast for us.

"Morning sweetie! Get a good night sleep?"

"Yeah, I had a dream that I was a singing star and you were the manager!"

He smiled at me and gave me my food. I love my dad! He is the best and he is amazing at science and technology! When I was about five years old he taught me how to make a computer chip. I was so excited that I begged my dad to let me make my own game with coding and of course he said yes.

I was about to head to school but dad stopped me, this is where the first hint of uneasiness started. Dad would never want me late to school.In fact he always wanted to get me to school ten minutes early so I wouldn't be late. He accidentally looked at the calendar wrong and it was a Saturday.

"Hey, sweetie. We need to talk..about you. Your not in trouble but..let's go down to the basement."

I nodded, sure this was sudden but I can trust my dad right? He probably has a surprise for me. Maybe we would move, he knows that my school isn't the best. There is another school, Mission Creek high, and I wanted to go there. The principal was mean but there's this kid Leo Dooley, he seemed fun to hang around with.

When we got to the basement I started to get uneasy. I've never been here before, what will dad do to me? I got really worried until we met a maze of doors and dad showed me the way memorizing the order. When we met a light I saw a Laboratory with big walls and cool looking computers.

"Dad, why are we here?" I said, he looked at me with sadness in his eyes. I didn't know why, this was the coolest place ever!

"Honey..have you ever wanted to be a superhero?"

Time skip

Douglas POV

I know my daughter will love being bionic. I didn't tell her that I had no idea what bionic she would get, I didn't want her to be scared. I remember when I first found her. It was a cold night and she was just a baby when she was abandoned at an ally way and I just had to raise her. I knew I wanted to give her Bionics but I wanted to wait until she was Fourteen.

This is for her own good.

Flashback end

Abby'sPOV

I still was floating in darkness, I was still alone. I was still sad. Douglas gave me my bionics and I don't regret it but, when he told me about bionic soldiers...I ran way. I lived in the basement for two years until he told me. I still think he can be good but right now might not be the best time.

A screen suddenly popped up in front of me and it brought back memories of my first coding lesson with Douglas. It took me a while to realize it was..

The Triton App

It was finding a source to control but Adam, Bree and Chase weren't connecting. Probably because tat was something I did to their Bionic Chips. The problem was, I could only do this to them when they are asleep. Creepy yes but it was the only was unless I wanted to hurt them. When it found me it took a second. I know Douglas didn't want to do this but he had to.

After a while it connected to me and all of my memories where flowing through me and I remembered everything from the blurry faces of my mom, to when  Marcus shot me instead of Leo on accident. I couldn't see anything except darkness and I was alone again but I heard a voice
