Sometimes, all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, 20 seconds of embarrassing bravery...

In twenty seconds, their forms were in; they were signed up to follow their dreams. Not everyone is destined to make it in the music business, but Britain is as sure as the morning dawn that these five teenagers will. Maybe not alone, but somehow, their dreams will come true.

In 20 seconds, their lives turn on their heads. In 20 seconds, the choice is out of their hands, and is in the British public's.

Riley Morris. The Glue. Tomboy, hobby/closet guitarist, and singer. A passion for music, with an older brother and their mum. She's been through many good and bad things, but that's what makes Riley, Riley.

Lisa Hampton. The Girl of Change. Also known as The Joker, or The Random One. Simple girl, with a simple family. Two brothers, a sister and a mum, all of who believe in her to the moon and back. So maybe she likes the music of a certain blonde haired country singer, who may or may not have dated a boy band member among others, but that's her style. No one ever said you had to like an artist for their personality. After all, that's why they're in the music business. To share music, regardless of inspiration or background.

Logan Smythe. The Twin. So maybe his name is a little cliche. That's what life threw his way, and he survived with it. Mocked as a freak as a child for the unusual 'twin telepathy' he shared with his closest and best friend; his sister, the pair have been with each other through thick and thin. Except for this. From those twenty seconds, they have to separate and realise that they have their own dreams. They have to support each other, without seeing each other every second of every day...

Jake Thanes. The Cheeky Chappy. So the 20 seconds might not be as good as everyone thinks. They can change you in many ways. They can help you find yourself, or completely loose the grip of your idea of you. Growing up with girls (for the most part) doesn't help a lot with a boy finding himself... But this is what he wants to do. He's definite he can follow in the footsteps of the Essex boy of Olly Murs... Not everyone is so sure...

Zach Penning. The Other Half. With their music tastes, Zach and Riley seem like the perfect fit. But appearances can be misleading. The two are different in so many ways, yet similar in just as much. The talent show doesn't want to spark up too much romance... They have enough problems on their hands. But maybe a little love-hate relationship is all they'll need... If protective siblings don't get in the way, mind.
