Chapter 6 - Fly Me To The Moon...
Lisa's POV
"I hate flying." Jake pulled his jacket together as I rolled my eyes.
"It's not that bad. Plus, guess what." I jumped up once as I grabbed his arm.
"Ow, your nails!" He warned and I rolled my eyes again.
"We're flying first class?!" Riley exclaimed as she looked at the tickets that were handed to us.
"No, Sherlock, we're walking in a hamster wheel to keep the plane up." I replied sarcastically.
"Alright Watson." Riley nodded and started jumping around, then doing a weird dance.
"Riley, please don't tell me you have epilepsy." Logan said cautiously as he sat down with cups of coffee.
"That's not a good joke." Riley shook her head before going back to dancing. She looked like a professional street dancer, her white earphones in and linked to her ears and the iPod in her jeans' pockets.
"I thought she couldn't dance." Logan chuckled as he took his mocha.
"That's what she told us. But apparently, it was a lie." I said as we eyed Riley and her dancing.
"Oi, Morris!" Nonstop, or rather, Taboo, walked up, and since Riley couldn't hear them, Adam pulled out her earphones and played the music out loud.
"I didn't know you liked boy bands." Robin said as she turned to look at them. He smirked as she reached to get her music player back.
"Jesus, just-"
"Baby you light up my world like nobody else!" The boys continued to taunt her and I chuckled before taking the iPod from Tom.
"The way that you flip your hair." I didn't finish the line as they chuckled and Tom ruffled his shaggy hair that was usually a big mop of curls.
"It actually was Little Mix before you stole it." Riley said as she took the iPod from me. "Thanks Lis."
"Welcome. And we know some of you have a special liking of the said boy band, so just don't try." I said seriously before the boys behind us laughed and Zach arrived.
"Did the cashier slip me drugs, or did I really see Riley dancing five minutes ago?" He asked, holding sandwiches for all five of us.
"You saw correctly." I nodded and thanked him for the ham and cheese sandwich.
"Man. Riley, you said you couldn't dance." He looked her over and she gave him a light push. I could just tell those two would be in a love hate relationship anytime soon.
"Gimme my sandwich." Riley grumbled and I chuckled. I took out the splitting earphones and we shared the music as we sat next to each other, not paying attention to the others as I buried myself in my book, and the sandwich.
As we sat in the black plastic chairs, eating away at our sandwiches, and the voices of amazing bands filling our ears, I looked around. It would probably be my first and last time in the Heathrow waiting lounge, so might as well take it all in.
People were moving all around, the cameras were in a different place, to give us some last minute privacy after we found out we were going to New York City. Yeah, I was just as shocked as you...
I'm pretty sure we were the loudest. We had the girl group, Dynamo, sitting opposite, as well as the other five. The boys were talking, laughing quite loudly too, but I don't think we cared. It was better to laugh now, all together, rather than cry at things that might happen in the future. They also didn't seem to mind the uncomfortable black chairs we had to sit in, that you couldn't even slouch in. I mean what is that all about? Couldn't they afford to just put some tree stumps in or something, it would look so much more natural. I just don't understand. I mean-
