A young girl sat patiently with her eye peering through a small hole in the wall near her. Long, orange hair ran down her back like a glimmering waterfall. The eye that peered through was an emerald green that shone with a glint of intelligence. The room she was present in was a cell that connected into Akito's main room where he sat daily. He looked off into the forest quietly acting as if the girl's existence didn't matter.
"Why am I not allowed to leave?" The girl said as her entire person was filled with fear.
The boy slowly reached his hand out as a small songbird perched upon his index finger. He let out a sigh and stayed looking into the forest that basked in his vision. He began to speak," You must pay for all of your mistakes." Akito was only about 11 years old, but he was head of the Souma family. He was the person that made all the rules, and every family member had to follow his unorthodox rules to keep the family secrets. "How could you be so immature and stupid? You don't even know your last name, so how could you know your parents? You will get what you asked for. You asked me to introduce you into this family, and this is how you will be for the rest of your life. That is, unless someone actually wants an idiotic daughter like you. I wouldn't get your hopes up though."
The bird suddenly flew away and Akito turned to his other side propping up his head. His pale skin was lightly scrunched up as his face turned into a crooked grin. Looking at his scary features she lowered her head as her locks slowly engulfed her facial features. She was on the brink of crying. She started to believe the word that came from his evil mouth. She was only nine years old and these words made her feel as if her existence meant nothing. "I am sorry... I didn't try to lose my memory. I needed somewhere to stay, and I didn't even ask! You locked me up right away when I told you my memory was erased by someone."
Akito stood up in a quick movement no longer grinning. He pulled a set of keys out of his pocket as he unlocked the cell door, slamming it open. "Maylon don't question my judgment!" His hands held onto her long hair as he jerked her head up. Tears flowed down her pale cheeks as a scream of pain was released from Maylon's lips. "You want to be part of this family?! So be it! You shall be a prisoner of the curse just like us!" Akito lifted her up, grasping her hair tighter and looking at her face-to-face. Akito then noticed her crying," You won't make it in this family, you're too idiotic and weak." He lifted his palm towards her face and swung his hand freely at her breaking her nose as blood trickled down her cheek. The blood slowly rushed on the cement ground as her hair color was dyed in red. Her nose had a burning sensation and her tears added a salty complex to it as well. Noticing his vitum being useless, Akito left and didn't say another word to her that night.
