Sebastian White is now 20, and in his fourth year at Harvard University and is majoring in neurology. He sat in the front, as a lecture about different neurological disorders were discussed. After the 90 minute lecture, Sebastian was in his dorm rereading his notes, and the his eyes met his old notebook he wrote in throughout his childhood.

He was reading his notes again until he came across Autism, then grabbed his notebook again. It was journal where he wrote all of his feelings and flipped through it. Then he read over his Autism notes, wide eyed.

Maybe... There was something wrong with me. Maybe all the signs have been misread by everyone, even me.

"Autism." I said to myself.

"The neurological development disorder that affects communication skills and normal brain development... One in 88 children have it..."

I touched my notebook and immediately reached for my cell phone. Frankly, I think I'm exquisitely normal and unique in my own way... No... This couldn't be the way...

I called my doctor, looking viciously from my notebook to my notes to the walls that were painted a dark blue, and back to my notes, waiting for someone to pick up on the other end.

"Hello?"

"Doctor Shuck?!?"

"Yes? Sebastian White? Is that you?"

"Yeah, Hi. We need to talk."

"Shoot. I'm on my night break."

"Is... There something wrong with me?"

Doctor Shuck has been my primary care doctor ever since I turned eight.

"Sebastian..."

"What?"

"I think you're old enough now..."

I was dead silent on the other end.

"Sebastian...You were diagnosed with Asperger's, when you were nine..."

I hung up and looked over my Autism notes to be prepared for my neurology test the next morning...
